My parent's rolltop desk is supposed to go to me. It's the original desk that was in our hometown bank and was made circa 1870s. That's one SOLID piece of furniture! From my Grandma E., she already gave me a wooden mirrored chocolate box that my grandpa gave her when they were courting. My Grandma L. gave me her engagement/wedding ring that my grandpa gave to her, but sadly, my drug addicted nephew who was living in my home stole it and pawned it for drug money. The sad thing is, he probably didn't get $75 for it. I begged and begged him to tell me where it was so I could buy it back, but he never did. Everytime I see her she asks me if I still have it and I tell her it's in my jewelry box.

Yes, a few. My husband's mother left us some antiques, some that we passed to my son and daughter in law, my mother left me her diamond wedding band, which I wear every day, and there are a few things that we have that are keep sakes from our parents.

No I have to admit, I come from a very greedy family. They wouldn't pass down an old shoe.

No my mother in law moved on to God. My in laws raided her house that weekend. She was not a rich woman. I watched my brother inlaw run through the rooms shouting that's mine! We didn't even get the photo albums. My wife and I left in disgust. My side I'm a welfare kid. Nothing there..

A Rosary from my Grandmother-in-Law. A jewelry box and hope chest from my mom. A Star of David necklace with a cross from my dad. And an old "Little Bo Peep" Eu de Toilet Avon Bottle from my Grandmother. Some thimbles from my Mother in Law. All have special meaning for me. God rest all their souls.

Sure do! A beautiful round oak table that belonged that was made by a family member is my favorite.

I have a framed print on my wall from my Aunt. My cousin, when he heard I wanted it, handed it over cheerfully. I think of her every time I see it.
