Blocking: How to Use it Correctly

Note: I don't encourage blocking, but if you must, I ask that you take these guidelines into consideration. I am in no way forcing you to follow these, nor do I have the authority.
This is something every SodaHead should read and understand. I'm going to teach you all how to use the "block" feature correctly because many of you (not all) don't know how to use it right. Here we go. Here are some DOs of blocking.
DO block because you are being harassed.
Example: You offer a decent and logical point. A radical bigot comes along and flames you and claims you're wrong. You offer a kind and correct retort. He keeps going. He also brings in allies to rave him up and make him look right, when he is wrong. The keeps continuing. You decide to block him.
DO block creepers.
Example: You get a message from some SodaHead you have never met before asking for your ASL or a picture of you naked. You decide to block him.
DO block spammers.
Example: Pretty self explanatory. Just don't friend spammers and you won't get spammed.
DO block people who intentionally target you to flame you:
Example: You answer on three different News and Politics questions. This guy comes a long and flames you on all three. He doesn't have a valid point, he's just doing it to be a jerk.
DO block radicals, in advance.
Example: Liberals are such idiots, they need to die in hell. BLOCK
Conservatives are so stupid. Anyone who is a conservative is stupid. BLOCK
DO block people who break serious rules in the TOS and/or threaten you.
Reason: Self explanatory. Do it so you can have a nice time here.
Here are some commonly used DON'Ts
DON'T block someone because you want to get the last word in.
Example: You are a radical bigot. You flame someone who is making a rational point. You offer a nasty retort to his/her logical comment and block him/her, so he/she can't reply.
DON'T block someone because they disagree with you.
Example: Self explanatory... I will mention nun-one.
DON'T block people of a different political party.
Reason: The reason for this is because our country (or website for that matter) only gets better through ideas and comprise. Debate is an essential part of that. If you block just because he/she's a liberal/conservative, that doesn't get you anywhere.
Should you unblock people?
I agree that you should. People deserve a second chance here on SodaHead. Just because you had one bad fight with someone doesn't mean you should block them for eternity! It's up to you, but I say "yea" on rehabilitation.
If there should be any additions, let me know. Hopefully you can learn how to use the "block" feature, correctly!

Let's not forget, folks.... We ALWAYS have the option of ignoring them. I guess I was just raised to be an adult in that regard. This isn't the schoolyard, it's a website. There's no risk of someone coming after you to assault you when your back is turned...
I'm one of those people who really like having the last word (yeah, not proud, but I don't try and "win" cheaply) so when I've made one or two rational points, get an irrational response and can't reply... it's kind of annoying.
I already practice most of them.
HERE IS A LIST THAT HAVE BLOCKED ME ,BECAUSE THEY CAN NOT DEBATE..

You have fun with that...
I have chosen not to block. If I did follow your guidelines, I would have quite a number of blocked SH's racked up. This guideline in particular:
"DO block radicals, in advance.
Example: Liberals are such idiots, they need to die in hell. BLOCK
Conservatives are so stupid. Anyone who is a conservative is stupid. BLOCK
DO block people who break serious rules in the TOS and/or threaten you.
Reason: Self explanatory. Do it so you can have a nice time here."
That's no good. I'll have to hide my secret better next time!
Sorry Dog!
