This Sunday is Beyonce's very first Mother's Day -- but she isn't forgetting about her own mom. "[We're] all going to be together," Tina Knowles told Us Weekly. "We're excited because it's Beyonce's first Mother's Day."

So what are the lovely ladies going to do that day? "I'm hoping to cook! I want to cook," the House of Dereon designer shared. "My traditional soul food and maybe gumbo. That's my favorite dish!" Er, we wouldn't mind stopping by at this shindig!

At Monday night's super-glam Met Costume Gala, Beyonce told Entertainment Tonight she'd like to give baby Blue a sibling ... or should we say siblings. "I definitely want to have more [kids]," she said. "I don't know how many. God knows. I don't know yet." But for now, she's just enjoying 4-month-old Blue Ivy. "I have such a full life," she said. "I feel like now I know the reason that I was born." Are you spending Mother's Day with your mom, like Beyonce is?

My mother died a year and a half ago in a terrible accident, at age 56. I'm really getting SICK of all these mothers day questions and crap in my inbox about "it's not too late to send your mother this and that". It is too late for some of us. For some of us, mother's day is just a reminder of what we don't have.

Jen, sorry to hear about your mom, but it's ok to still celebrate mom's day like I do, since my mom passed away too when I was only still 19yrs sum yrs ago from a heart condition at 51... I still celebrate mom's day by visiting her grave, saying a pray for her...& just talking to her like as if she was still alive on earth! Believe me she hears me because she has appeared to me in my dreams looking very happy & lovely...

She remarried a condescending, arrogant, control freak who thinks he can tell us what to give her for her birthday, Christmas, and Mother's Day. Always something for the house or for both of them. Otherwise it gets given away. I'm sending Hallmark cards so the bastard can work on how to convert them to gasoline for his goddamn motorcycle.

It's not easy for me...I'm used to splurging on Mom. Now I splurge only when I'm visiting her.

sounds like he can also (hate to say this) abusive. dont leave her alone too much with him. thats what they want...the fam to back off so he can be in total control. if that happens, she's lost.
