Disgust is a term I reserve for people that CHOOSE to do something wrong, like rapists, child molesters, lawyers, most politicians and Democratic voters.
Obesity isn't something most overweight people set out to achieve.
Some people are obese because of medical factors, like diabetes, glandular disorders, medical use of steriods, etc. There is much evidence to support the argument that genetics have a great influence on body weight.
Further, some people experience a metabolic shift in their early 40's to the point that the gain weight no matter what, whereas in previous years they could eat entire pizzas with no effect.
So I don't judge a person by their demensions alone.
If I'm at a buffet and I observe a large person gorging themselves uncontrollably on the free food, I feel sorry for them, if they're wearing their GOP lapel pin.
I feel disgust if they're wearing an Obama Tee Shirt...because I'll be paying for their meals and their prolonged healthcare at some point in the near future.
No! They do NOT disgust me. I believe we are all the same, in spite of our differences. You wouldn't single someone out for being another race, and call them disgusting, There are many reasons that people become obese. to blame them is like blaming a black man for being born black! It's ludicrous. We need to learn to accept people of all sizes! Who knows? You may learn something by embrassing people of all kinds.
i am not sure
sometimes when i c skinny (soo much) i wanna sorta b them
sometimes when ther r fat ppl i get away from them and dont wanna b them!
i like the way i am!
I try to get to know a person before I judge them. There are beautiful people who are ugly inside and ugly people who are beautiful inside. The outside package is not indication of what is inside. The wrapping does not indicate what the box may contain.
i just wish thay cared about them selves , and do something healthy with lere ives, im heavery now that i got diabetes, and i have changed my whole diet and i walk a mile every day we can do this.
If a person is so morbidly obese that a chair disappears when they sit on it, then yeah, it is quite gross and unsightly. Nobody gets that heavy "by accident" and while I am heavier then I'd like to be, I battle hypo-thyroidism and have a very low metabolism that is causing weight gain because I certainly do not eat that much. In fact, with low thyroid, my appetite has been on the decline and I eat about once a day lately.
Have to see my doctor again and get my meds adjusted.
Gotta admit that obesity is not flattering but does not disgust me. As a senior citizen, it is my belief that people my age are either shriveled or fluffy. I prefer to be fluffy.
I also see you're a smoker. Should all smokers be banned to concentration camps because their personal addiction not only affects their own health, but the health of people around them?
I'm allergic to smoke. It gives me a headache at the least, but makes me sick at the worst. I used to have to visit in the homes of smokers. Even if they didn't smoke around me, the residual smoke was often enough to make me ill. I managed to get pneumonia at least once every year, while I had that job. Now that I no longer have to be around smokers like that, I haven't had it since.
No, I was just trying to make a point. Some people are as addicted to food, as others are addicted to smoking or drugs or alcohol. The real sad part is that smokers can live without cigarettes, even it they're hard to give up. Alcoholics or drug addicts can live without alcohol or drugs, even the addiction is overpowering. People cannot live without food. Sometimes, it's a real balancing act to eat the food you need to sustain life, instead of eating to suppress emotional pain.
Not everyone can afford Jenny Craig. I once lost 50 lbs. on Jenny before my ex decided to help me regain the weight. It was very, very, expensive. I did regain the weight. Now thanks to him, I've lost even more. Ending the relationship has had some silver linings.
No, you're a bad person for many other reasons. Fat people may disgust you but you disgust me as a human being. I'd like to see you in a concentration camp.
