The phrase is more like Be(ar) careful in Canada.....a friend of mine went on one of those Canada fishing trips years ago, where you are flown to the fishing camp. He was told to keep his gun handy at all times, in case.....well, in case happened......what'd he get out of it? A nice bear rug....and some new underwear......seriously
Great punchline!
Reminds me of an ill-advised hike I took alone in Glacier National Park. On the way back to the lodge, I ran into a group of folks (with their ankle bells) and they all asked me did I see the Grizz just minutes ago?
I took much shorter walks after that day. :D
It was a very spooky feeling that I had probably been jogging within a couple hundred yards of a genuine wild grizzly, and I had no idea until those people asked me if i'd seen it "just a couple minutes before". If their jingle bells hadn't warned the griz that people were coming, I might have run directly into its path. :O
lol...... I meant jingle bells....sorry. How freaky.... It reminds of a scene in the Waltons where they smashed a couple rocks together and scared the bear away.YEAH

And they are jingle bells, not jingle bears - LMAO! Made my day!
