BATHSALTS? are people really whining about bathsalts? are you kidding me?

A lot of the issue started with the guy eating someones face off and going crazy. I saw the video on FOX news and it looks really horrible. Very nasty stuff.

The drug they are using isn't really 'bath salts' and everyone knows it including the DEA. It is sold under that name to get it to market. That stuff is killing people. I know one idiot that smoked or did whatever to injest it and passed out, had a seisure, came to and didn't know where she was, who she was, or who anyone else was. It lasted about 30 minutes. We thought she had had a stroke. I still think that. Some people are crazy!

Correction: It wasn't 'bath salts' she smoked. It was 'potpourri' and it is nasty stuff.

Some people are claiming it gets them off of crystal meth but like you said it is killing people and it was legal for the longest time now they have craked down on it

They ought to start killing people who make and distribute meth. That stuff is ruining more people and costing the rest of us a fortune.

I totally agree.Here in Canada if you get caught selling Exctasy you not only get charged with trafficing but you also get charged with attempt of murder they should have that same law on crystal meth

I like that law. I think drugs should be legal for adults, but very harsh punishments for people who sell or provide them for children and teens.

I agree there we have another law that if you are caught with drugs or selling drugs with in 1000 feet of a school the punishment is higher I think the states have the same law,

Yeah, it's that way here, but the problem is that the drugs are illegal to begin with. They shouldn't be for adults. I think an adult should be able to do what they want to as long as they don't invade someone else's space, which practically means they have to do them at home.

The only problem is drugs like coke and crack and meth etc are brain altering drugs,so even a priest would dig up his own mom to get a cold tooth if it meant more and would rob for the next also so it is hard to say to keep them at home because once the money and drugs are gone you will going looking and the worse you get the more desperate you get

I think if coke was legal, besides being able to tax and control it's sale, there would be no need for crake and meth. With no market they would go away eventually. There are always going to be addicts just like there are alcoholics and tobacco addicts. If coke was legal it would be cheaper. All drugs are brain altering, some of them cause permanent changes or outright distruction like alcohol. The only one that has reversable change is marijuana.

Not only that but it would wipe out Canadas national debt in a year and that is if they controled weed like tobacco,They spend billions on this so called war on drugs and how long has it been going on for and how far have they gotten,as long as there is someone wanting it they will be it,they can;t stop it they can not even slow it down,So they spend billions on agents equipment,training missions for what a few hundred pounds well for that few hundred pounds they get there is 100000 pounds getting through it is estimated that 25,000 pounds of drugs enter Canada daily and is cut up cooked up and on the street with in 5 hours of entering Canada,With the amount of money being made it is nothing to buy a dock worker or whatever to just pass it by the cartels spend millions bribing people and it is pocket change the cartel and drug lord could pay of Canada and the states nation debts and still not make a dent in there bank account,that is just the cold hard truth and now that people are being hooked on prescription narcotics the pharmacutical companies are getting a piece of the pie now,the truth is it will never end and there is nothing anyone can do about it or ever will

You are preaching to the Choir! A lot of marijuana is grown in the US, too. I know where a several acre field is right now. The DEA flies grids over this part of the country all summer. Sometimes they actually find some. I live between two major corridors from MX, too.

I live in canada so marijuna in a corn feild is nothing hell just about everyother house is a grow op,we grow the best weed in the world here and it is in every province and we get the RCMP flying throw the fall looking for feild but the same every acre the burn ten acres are pulled and dried they also fly over residential areas looking for heat signatures looking for in door grow ops

My daughter says it's the best. She grows a couple of plants occasionally, but she loves what comes out of Canada. I think it will eventually become legal.

It is damn near legal here it has been decriminalized so if you are caught with less the a once then it is a fine like tresspassing but it is more the a once then it is a crime you get charged with possesion and possesion with the intent to traffic and trafficking,so I mean how much closer can you get to legal and most times if you do not give the cop a hassle then he will just let you go with it,

I don't even know what the law is in TX, anymore, but almost everyone around here smokes and the deputy is one of them! The first time I walked into the local bar, 27 years ago, I smelled marijuana smoke. I couldn't believe it. No one seemed to care. It's kind of like prostitution, it's against the law, but they still do it, and nobody says anything.

We have anti smoking ban in resturants commercial buildings and everywhere else besides your house and your car and it is a 5,000 dollar fine if you smoke a cigarette in one of these places but the funny part is if you were to walk in and light a joint,you would get less trouble

We do, too, now, but that was 25 years ago. I think you can still smoke in bars here but not in resturants except in special places. I'd love to see it barred everywhere. I have to hold my breath to go into Walmart. Most people smoke outside the bars, tobacco and pot, and at the parks, etc.

yes, lady i just saw the news channel article(s) plural...more than 3 videos).....its called ivory wave bath salt. youre not right. Youre probably thinking by reporting wrong that it will stop people from doing it, when there are tons of other things that drug users will use anyway......lets be realistic here.

I didn't make myself clear enough. I know it is packaged as a bathsalt and may be used that way. It is still meant to be a drug for idiots. That is the way the sellers are getting around the laws. I would NEVER purposely report anything wrong. I want the truth about ALL drugs to be out there, so people can decide for themselves.

Whn it comes to things a person could do to get high, low or sideways, there are about half a dozen plants in my yard that will do that. It's that way everywhere.

Here we go again because of the few they screw the majority . My friend in GA said they have outlawed bathsalts and it will go further . I say screw the addicts if they get high and die oh well one less idiot to deal with .

The thing about these "Bath Salts" that we don't hear enough about is that they aren't the bath salts you go to Victoria's Secret and buy for the wife. They are drugs, cheap, nasty, dangerous drugs that are marketed as bath salts so that they can be sold legally. No one who buys these uses them in their spa soak. It's really just a name...

People are using them to get high and are dying from them.

They aren't whining about the bath salts themselves, they're taking issue with how people don't use them for their intended purposes. The "Zombie" attacks that have been occurring recently IE. Florida Guy who got his face eaten was a result of someone using bath salts as if it were XTC.

Whining? I'm currently watching a news story which happened not 10 miles from my house. A woman high on bath salts picked up her 5 year old child, punched him repeatedly in the face, choked him and rolled down a flight of stairs with him in her arms. She then went to a neighbors house, attacked her, stripped naked, went back in her house and brought her dog outside an began to choke and hit the animal. Police were called and she was maced, which did not work. They tazed her and she fell to the ground. A little while later she died after a drug induced cardiac arrest.
In the MIDDLE of the broadcast the newscaster said "We interrupt this story to bring you breaking news about another violent bath salts incident..."

The story is changing bit by bit by the minute. The witnesses all seem to have different versions, however she was apparently known to use this drug.
