I think it's great. Congratulations to both of them! I was utterly appalled at the disgustingly hateful comments from conservatives on a group on Facebook under the picture on Saturday. You people need to get a gripe on all this attacking the other side, it's getting really tiresome.

That's funny when liberals attack Conservative who are gay. You liberals have called Rick Perry Gay and accused Michelle Bachmann's husband of being gay. In fact when you liberals attack us on the right you always tell us *YOU'RE GAY." or what we say is ***SO GAY***.

You may want to THINK prior to posting. Just sayin'.

Couple of things: I'm not liberal, I was making a factual statement regarding the attacks from conservatives about the marriage of two men -- on a Facebook post in fact.

Not really sure what Rick perry or Michelle Bachman had to do with this whatsoever. I didn't say "democrats are never ever mean and hateful towards others" did i?? No, I didn't because that would be a lie.
Then, you keep inaccurately assuming that I am a liberal, saying "you always tell us" which is quite comical because I personally, have NEVER said that at all.

So just saying, maybe you shouldn't post before you think. If you want to have a rational discussion about how the right does or doesn't attack gay marriage I would glad to.

Seems to me you singled out Conservatives for posting "Mean" things about Franks and his partner. Do you know for a FACT that those who don't embrace same sex marriages (The MAJORITY) were "ALL" Conservatives?

I made the point that Liberals do not hesitate to attack Conservatives who are gay and who like to tell us that what we believe in is "SO GAY".

The right doesn't attack Gays. We simply do not and will not allow Marriage to be Redefined.

    That's it.

Interesting but not factual. It depends on who you ask. You see if you ask only those who support same sex unions than the polls would favor the minority.

The Federal Gov. still does NOT recognize same sex marriages.
The Vast Majority of Hispanics and Blacks most certainly do NOT support same sex marriages.

So first Obama was OPPOSED to it and embraced Marriage to be ONE MAN and ONE WOMAN. Now all of a sudden he supports it.

We all know it was for POLITICAL REASONS

When Obama was against Homosexual Marriage not one peep from the Liberal Lame Stream Media

When Obama came out and said he was FOR homosexual marriages suddenly he was praised by the Lame Stream Media as EVOLVING.

    Romney was PRO~CHOICE
    Romney is now PRO~LIFE
What does the Liberal Lame Stream Media call Romney? A FLIP FLOPPER.

So when a liberal changes his views he/she evolves
When a Conservative changes his/her views they are flip floppers.

    Got Hypocrisy

Most Americans now support same sex marriage. The polls clearly show this. I posted one (did you miss it? or, do you not understand how polling works?). You then spent an entire post ignoring it through one of the most childish, nonsensical, defensive, off-topic rants I have read in quite some time.

I am sorry it has gotten your panties in a wad. ;-)

You seem to lack the ability to COMPREHEND. My post is not childish or off topic. You simply hate the truth.

Sorry that you're too foolish to understand polls.
Depending on whom you ask (Mainly those in areas who support redefining marriage the poll would favor same sex marriage and visa versa.

Sorry Nitwit. Marriage is and will always be between one man and one woman.

When Obama changes his mind he EVOLVES
When Romney changes his mind you morons label him as a FLIP FLOPPER.

Put your thinking cap on and deal with REALITY.

Hell CA won't even support it and that is one very LIE.beral now BANKRUPT state.

Mainly those in areas who support...
They post their methods at the end of their polls. It is why I provided the link that you did not click on.

To prevent your clicking finger from getting over-stressed:
"Results for this Gallup poll are based on telephone interviews conducted May 5-8, 2011, with a random sample of 1,018 adults, aged 18 and older, living in all 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia.

For results based on the total sample of national adults, one can say with 95% confidence that the maximum margin of sampling error is ±4 percentage points. blah blah blah... 400 cell phones, 600 land lines, blah blah blah"

There are several sources. Google before ranting is a good rule of thumb. (FYI!)

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/...

The benefits gained by marriage in this country are not decided by you, or your religion. Sorry!

Your political, frothing, childish, name-calling additions have little to do with this discussion. I'll leave you to cuddle with them.

Maybe you just need a hug? ;-)

They should keep it to themselves. It comes under the heading of privet business. As for mirage, unless one of them has the capability getting the other one pregnant and giving birth, it is just a partnership.

When the union of two men or the union of two women has the potential to produce an offspring I would agree that it is a marriage. So far the only creature I have found that can do that is a bi-sexual earth worm; they may be others as well.
Not all male/female car or want to produce an offspring is true, but the potential is there. Remember that a successful marriage IS a good partnership as well.
  • Kid Neon John T. 2012/07/18 16:35:15
    Kid Neon
so, in your opinion, marriage is a symbol of finally being able to produce an offspring?
  • John T. Kid Neon 2012/07/22 16:25:56
    John T.
What this movement is trying to do is to change history and social protocol not to mention the sanctity of male/female unions that have been established for centuries in every society in the world except this one.
Personally, I don’t care who or what you do whatever behind your own closed doors. What I do believe is in this day in time is that two people same sex or not can form a partnership and still have the legal benefits accorded to married cupules. I believe that there is a clear distinction between a Legal Union (Partnership) and a marriage.
  • Kid Neon John T. 2012/07/22 18:07:23
    Kid Neon
we live in something called a "society". these "societies" go through extreme changes sometimes. in this case it's establishing that all forms of love between people (i said people. not animals or cardboard cutouts.) are valid and are recognized by the country/state. it's an equality thing. and the "sanctity of marriage" isn't based on the parties but rather the means of the marriage. by your logic two opposite sex people who only wanted to get married for some finical purpose is more litigate than a same sex couple getting married because they want to bind their love in holy matrimony.
  • John T. Kid Neon 2012/07/29 13:42:58

I have never seen a warm-blooded homosexual animal in the wild. Just because we decide to do something that society has demonized and call it right will actuarially make it right. I really don’t care what deviant or kinky thing you may do behind closed doors. But there is a deference between a Mirage and a Partnership just as there is a deference between a boat and a ship.
  • Kid Neon John T. 2012/08/01 14:36:36
    Kid Neon
there have been records of homosexual animals in the wilds. hell i know a gay dog. and yes it does make it right because most forms of ethics are entirely subjective beside a few arguable axioms such as killing another person. and if there is a difference between marriage and partnership what is it? i know you'd say that it's a bond between a man and a woman and i'd say it's a bond between two people who love each other. so ultimately doesn't that suggest that the definition of marriage is subjective as well?
