Barney Frank Is the First Gay, Married Congressman: What Do You Think?

First of all, I read your bio and discovered that you are straight; you are just an apologist for gay people.

"A person who is always thinking about sex" is not a definition of "perverted." You made that up. Homosexuals are perverted because their inclinations and their behavior is abnormal. Regardless of the number of homosexuals, homosexuality will always be perverted.

The pleasure derived from sexual behavior is one of its important elements but, without debate, the primary purpose for sexuality is the propagation or procreation of the human race and that is a God ordained and sacred union. Humans were created male and female for a reason and that reason is pretty important. It is a profound element in being "human" and is, in fact, critical to the fact, generally speaking, that the human race exists and, more specifically, that you and I exist. Sexual behavior is pleasureable because human beings need that erotic pleasure as a powerful motivation for them to continue the practice and as an element of expressing love between a man and his wife. If a man is aroused by erotic thoughts about other men, something is wrong with him. Regardless as to whether that person has had those tendencies from early or late in life, something is wrong with his thinking in this area and he needs to get some help. Telling him that it is O.K. and "normal" is only compounding the problem.

The fact that you don't want to allow God into this discussion is irrelavant. You certainly don't have to agree with me and you don't have to believe in God as I do or accept Christ as I have, but what God thinks about this is far more important than what either you or I think about it, whether you like that or not. That is who I am and if you want to debate me, that is what you're gonna get. But, be that as it may, as an American who wants to preserve what ever wholesomeness is left in our culture, I stand against homosexuality and same-sex marriage and I regard it as degrading and will vote for those who stand with me on that.
