"LifeStrength" and other balance bracelets allege that they help you perform at your peak. The LifeStrength website alleges that its products help you...
While today’s technology has improved, simplified and secured our environment, it has simultaneously created some significant negative health ramifications. Our increased exposure to chemicals, electromagnetic discharge, and other neurological and physical toxins has paralleled rising rates of cancers, stress, sleep disorders and a myriad of accompanying illnesses.

Computers, cellular telephones and the electronics within cars all play a part in creating an increase in our positive ion exposure. Today’s automobiles and residences are tightly sealed, further lessening our abilities to truly recharge our bodies. Our bodies are simply producing a natural response to unnatural stimuli. There is a solution: LIFESTRENGTH™.

This picture from 9gag says "retarded" -- I don't approve of misapplying the terminology or using it as a derogatory term. Retarded means: "slow or limited in intellectual or emotional development or academic progress"

My Grandpa has some sort of problem where he can't walk or stand very steadily. We got him one of these for Christmas. I saw a small improvement in his balance. But maybe I was just seeing things.

I don't disapprove of those that wear them. Placebos have been proven to make people feel better. I just don't believe.

Results are inconclusive but I tend to err on the side of not because, if they did, they'd be way more popular than they are.

To help my brain and pain, I'll stick with proven herbs like Bacopa.

baseball players wear similar products. These are athletes in peak physical condition, and if they say it makes a difference... who am i to argue?

Well, baseball players have a league of sports medicine professionals, exercise every day and stick to specific lifestyle regimines. They get PAID to wear those stupid things by the companies that make them as advertising.

Total Scam to sell things. Nothing "turns off" interference or gets rid of toxins better than exercise and sweat. It is silly to think that wearing a "magic bracelet" will fix whats wrong. The real answer is to limit your exposure, and live a healthy life.

I know!! If it really worked I would be all for it, but sadly I think it probably does very little.

Its kind of like dumbo's magic feather. People believe it does something. The placebo effect if you will.

See the problem is, people are criticizing it and calling others who use it stupid, based on what they "think" as you've just admitted.

Baseball players swear by them. So pardon me if i take the word of an athlete in peak physical condition who wears it every game, over someone else who just "thinks" it looks like a dumb idea, despite never giving it a try.

You don't have to realize it's a scam without trying it. Just do some basic research into the components. It's another "Magnets make you healthy by magic" scam.

I do know that my magnetic titanium bracelets keep my aches and pains away and also helps with my bi-annual dental examinations. Do they help me perform better? Maybe ......... they take the chronic pain away.

I was a true skeptic. But the results convinced me.

I am not aware of the benefits of "performance" bracelets.

There's more to this than most people appreciate. I realize it's hard to get excited about a threat you can't see, because you can't fight what you can't see. But think about it: our bodies are carefully balanced electrical systems. The electric fields to which we expose ourselves, throw off the balance. Anything that can turn those fields off is worth looking into.
