LOL - she is scheduled to go in front of the judge today (Friday) and apologize - her bond has already been reduced - she has been accepted into drug court (usually takes weeks for that to happen) and if she successfully completes drug court, her charges will be dropped. You just know tomorrow when she apologizes the judges is going to release her - I suspect that judge has already been advised that he violated Florida Judicial Cannons in raising her bond, and probably her Sixth Amendment rights... LOL - I would like her to refuse to apologize in open court with the TV cameras running, and advise the judge that her rights have been violated, and that she was going on a hunger strike until repealed his contempt charge against her --- the look on the judge's face would be priceless --- I suspect, they would immediately release her without the need of her posting a bond.
LOL - she went BACK to court today (Feb 6, 2013) - and a NEW judge reduced her bond BACK to $5000.00 AND advised her that she would be accepted into the Drug Court Program and IF she successfully completes the program, her charges WILL be dropped (usually take some time to get accepted into the DCP - but NOT for her - LOL ) - she still has to do the 30 day contempt sentence, BUT I look for that to shortly be quietly reduced to time served (within the next few days) - WHY - because, I suspect that the judge violated Florida's Judicial Cannons - he has probably set himself up for a complaint being filed against him to the Florida Judicial Qualification Commission - (raising her bond simply for saying ADIOS ...After he had said BYE BYE) - maybe a violation of the girl's Sixth Amendment (US Constitution) right to a reasonable bond.
Sure, it's entertaining, but in reality it's ridiculous. Jail is for dangerous people, not people who are simply rude/stupid. This kind of thinking is why there are more people in jail in the USA than anywhere else, and it's a waste of taxpayer money.
Contempt of court. Depending on which judge you get, you should be smart enough to be respectful, even if you don't think they have proven they deserve respect.
LOL - she was back in court today - Bond reduced - accepted into drug program - charges will be dropped (30 day sentence still in effect, for NOW) - and I suspect her attorney is considering filing a Judical Qualification Complaint against the judge, to the Florida JQC for violation of her Sixth Amendment rights - yeah, I guess she learned her lesson alright....ROTFLOLing...
She is scheduled to apologize to the Judge today (Friday) - and I'll bet he releases her - why, because I further bet the judge's peers have advised him that he most probably violated Florida Judicial Canons and her Sixth Amendment rights when he raised her bond for simply saying Adios. The judge is looking for a way out !
Yes she did - AFTER the judge raise her bond simply for saying ADIOS - and after the judge raised her bond he told her ADIOS . I highly suspect that the judge screwed himself (and is being told so by his peers) - he needs a out - that is why he is allowing the woman to apologize so he can release her, and that is why another judge the very next day reduced her bond.
Smart mouth. That's what's the matter with these young people, no consequences for their actions until their grown and in the real world. I hope she knows millions of people are laughing at her stupid arsh.
Well, It's called "Contempt of Court", and it's been around longer than the girl OR the Judge. Or as "Barretta" would say: "Don't do da crime, if you can't do da time".
Good.. I know a woman that gave a guy a day for calling her a bitch.. he accepted then his lawyer told him he had to do the full 5 years before he could do the day... not so smart then.
