Avril Lavigne has always been known as a punk princess ... but lately, she's looking a little bit more like Rainbow Brite.

Lavigne, 26, has been rocking a multi-colored neon hair look while promoting her new album, "Goodbye Lullaby."
But Lavigne isn't the only one looking a little ... fluorescent these days. At Fashion Week in New York last month, models were seen with streaks of pink in their hair. And at the Fendi show in Milan, catwalkers strutted with blue tresses, Cosmo reports.
But neon hair is tame compared to the new neck tattoo Lavigne inked herself with on Saturday night. According to the New York Daily News, Lavigne's lovely neck now bears the image of a safety pin -- her latest tat. She also has the letter "D" for her ex-husband Deryck Whibley and the first name of current boyfriend Brody Jenner beneath her right breast, among others.

If her motive is to get attention from the showbusiness then so be it, it's after all a show business.. :)
she can do no wrong!
I think she is addicted or getting addicted.
I've read in a couple places that people get addicted to getting new ones.
I think tattoos are a mistake.
1) They are expensive and painful to get
2) They are often gotten for rather capricious reasons and often these kind of weird.
3) The average person unfortunately doesn't have even average fashion sense = tacky
4) If you change your mind they are even more expensive and more painful to get removed
5) Human skin is exactly the most stable surface to put an image on. It can stretch and/or sag over time which can horribly distort the image tattooed on.
maybe in a few years she can have that changed to "cellulite"
As close as I want to get to getting a tattoo
