Avril showed off more than just her new Abbey Dawn line at New York Fashion Week. She also debuted a new hairdo: a "Skrillex" cut, dyed pink and green... and garnished with studs. What do you think? I kinda hope her fashion line was edited better than her haircut...

I don't think that age has a lot to do with it, a lot of women seem to like to experiment with different hair do's I guess it depends on how they fill, and Rhianna is not a teenager, nor is Lady Gaga, her hair do's very as well.

This doo was way popular before skrillex...
This shaved hairstyle was made popular by a famous 90s all girl group called "Salt and Peppa" It started getting popular by accident when the woman on the far right got a bad perm. She then turned it into a hairstyle that people start to like even more.

Thats from the 80's. I can garante you that more than half of the people who rock that haircut nowadays don't have a clue of who is "Salt and Peppa". The nowadays "shaved" look was totally popularized by skrillex.

Im my opinion, it's hideous. The color I could deal with but the cut? I hate that half shaved fad that's so prevalent for some reason.

the colors are really cool but the haircut is awfully ugly and the studs are.... eh, not sure about those either. I think she needs to mature more, she's old enough to not be looking like a crazy punk teenager. Her old music was really good though.
