The person is doing it for attention. IT was probably trying to be #1 on the Hot List. With a number of hateful CONS playing along with IT, strongly suggests it's a contrived ploy.

If you don't mind this "old lady" offering some advise, my suggestion is completely IGNORE this DRAMA QUEEN!

She is not getting the action on her newer posts like she was when we were all going on the other ones. And I can tell by her comments that it is pissing her off. She is running around insulting everyone she can on their polls and insulting anyone who does go on her posts now. Unless of course they are nut jobs like her.

I missed the post Guru, so I'll give the benefit of the doubt.

I will say, when I first saw the picture I chuckled. I have a challenged sister who is now 40. I'm not sure what the fuss is about.

Maybe the situation it was used in is what pissed you off?

Was it a discussion about challenged people?

I learned today that the person who put up that thread has engaged in using developmentally disabled people's images to disparage people of the liberal persuasion. This time an image of a precious little girl with Downs Syndrome was used. I have a great-nephew with Downs Syndrome so what that IMP did got my blood boiling. Even a number of Conservatives called IT out for what was done.

To add insult to injury that cretin played STUPID & accused US of being judgmental because we know what a Downs Syndrome child looks like.

You're welcome Tommy. For a number of years I worked with the developmentally disabled population. They brought so much joy to my life. Then having little Karlos part of our family. He required heart surgery right after he was born as he had a hole in his heart.

When it comes to family, I don't play. What she did to score political points angered me to no end & playing STUPID made it even worse.

Really? Why did it take so long!? No doubt "IT" is already back given the followers. It was obvious to me that they already knew him as someone else. I expect it's only a temporary fix because all the decent people here stood up no matter their background or beliefs. This site took an all time low as far as I'm concerned. I will spend time with the friends I have grown to love here but other than THAT I have lost my taste for this place.
