It took a couple of years before I quit having dreams of being back on a ship. I'm glad those have gone away...now it's comedy skits or living out scenes from the latest book I read.... :)

I had a job in college in a food-processing plant. It was boring, noisy, and dirty work. I'd come home and immediately shower to get the grime and sticky off (processing corn). Then, I'd go to sleep, still hearing the machinery and seeing the conveyer belts. That was probably the worst job I ever had, but in a few weeks, I had my tuition--back when it was considerably less than now.

However, I've been rereading some stories which might make my dreams more than a little interesting. I love to do that before bed and then have lovely fantasies follow me into dreamland.
