When a celebrity announces a divorce or separation, it's usually just a matter of time for the other shoe to drop.
And boy, did Arnold Schwarzenegger let it drop.
Just a week after the former California governor announced his separation from Maria Shriver, his wife of 25 years, he's now admitted to fathering a child out of wedlock more than a decade ago, The Los Angeles Times reports.
The mother of Schwarzenegger's "love child" is a former member of their household staff who retired in January after 20 years of service and who was also married at the time.
The separation took place after Schwarzenegger came clean to Shriver, he says.
"After leaving the governor's office I told my wife about this event, which occurred over a decade ago," Schwarzenegger, 63, said Monday night in a statement issued to The Times.
"I understand and deserve the feelings of anger and disappointment among my friends and family. There are no excuses and I take full responsibility for the hurt I have caused. I have apologized to Maria, my children and my family. I am truly sorry."
Schwarzenegger took financial responsibility for the child from the start and continued to provide support, a source told the paper.
During the 2003 recall election, Shriver, 55, defended her husband when more than a dozen women said he had groped them over a period of many years.
Another woman, former child actress Gigi Goyette, recently told a tabloid that she had an affair with Schwarzenegger, but he denied the allegation. She also said Schwarzenegger cheated with "so many other women," citing at least 13.
Shriver, the niece of former President John F. Kennedy, is a former television journalist who gave up her job at NBC when Schwarzenegger took office. She and Schwarzenegger have four children together ranging in age from 13 to 21.

to be the end of your life or your marriage look at the clintins ,trumps kenendys and my self as far as that is concern they will get through this one way or the other my prayers r with them all.
