I don't have a problem with it at all.
I don't get the whole, "Women have to be smooth and hairless except for their eyebrows and their head." I mean, sure, if that's how you wanna roll, cool. But don't expect every woman to do so. That's just duumb. :D
Armpit hair on women, what's your opinion?

I have armpit hair, and I am a woman. I have had it for about two years now. I have never had a problem getting laid or anything like that. I have had negative feedback but I brush it off my shoulders pretty easily. I honestly don't get why people think it's gross. It naturally grows there. Shaving is a hassle and it can cause issues such as razor burn etc.

Visually, I think women are sexy with it. Shaving or not shaving armpits have nothing to do with hygiene anyway.
Of course I like to shave occasionally and trim it down, whatever, but I've never really needed to (perhaps because I've only shaved it a few times in my life?) It's clean, I'M clean, and it doesn't smell bad.
Also, many women grow comparatively fine armpit hair and leg hair naturally, and shaving makes many o' women's hair grow back thicker and darker.
I also don't think many of the photos of body hair on women on this opinion post have been the most representative. I know many women who haven't shaved in over a year that have much finer looking hair than that. If you'd like, I will post pictures.
Furthermore, hairy legs and armpits are by no means an indicator of poor hygiene.
I also don't like the negative comments about women with body hair being "third world". Why is it bad to be "third world"? I find that comment very classist and offensive, not to mention base. After all, is it worse to be this:

To me, it is "ugly" and "gross" to call somebody "ugly" or "gross" because of such a superficial thing as body hair. You don't have to be attracted to them, but saying that they're "disgusting" indicates that you are ugly at a not-so-superficial level. Yes, it's an opinion piece, and I'm all for people expressing their opinions, but that doesn't mean that I'm not going to hold anyone accountable for the opinion they express and judge them accordingly.
So whether you shave your body hair or not, you can still be beautiful (superficially and not superficially). A woman that is proud of her body is always beautiful, and for me, personally, I think a woman is even more beautiful for not thinking she has to spend at least 10 bucks a month on hair-removal. That's not to blame those who do, of course, because there's a lot of pressure to do so, and I understand that many just prefer to have that feeling, or they just feel more attractive without the hair. Just don't go calling a person who doesn't remove their body hair "disgusting," or "unfeminine" without knowing that I will therefore think of you as unintelligent, vulgar and more than a little brainwashed by companies trying to make a profit off of you.
YOU LOOK HOW YOU WANT TO, WORLD. YOU LOOK HOW YOU WANT TO.
Kudos to you for being brave enough to do what you want.
heads and pubes are the only places for hair... stashes on guys are kinda ok as long as they are trimmed and CLEAN...no yesterdays soup
Ew. Those words are the last things I want people to think when they see me. Beautiful, whatever. Smooth and clean? No. Just no.
I will agree with the shaving part of your argument, but that is why I paid money to have it permanently removed with laser treatments.
Curious....if someone offered you free laser treatments to have it gone for ever, would you take them up on their offer?
It's an opinion site after all, so if you ask a question, you are going to get opinions. =-)
Some people think it's okay, and if that is what YOU want, then do it.
Some people think it's a turn off, and that is okay too.
Kudos on the question though, I've been here for over a year and don't believe I've ever seen it asked or discussed before.
