Considering all these massacres and cruelties committed on endangered species, like elephants, rhinos, etc., simply for money or some trophy, yes, these animals should be given a chance to shoot back and protect themselves against heavily armed criminals.
It is a shame to see how too many humans are mistreating wild and domesticated animals. Domesticated animals who are fighting back are usually sentenced to death ...

Chuckling ... I am thinking of a song in which a hare, the prey, shot the hunter, the predator. Just a silly story, a tale for children (I don't think that there is an English version of this song, but if you are interested, I will do some research).

But let us be serious: we hear again a lot about poaching, which is one of the worst threats for endangered animals like elephants and rhinos. And we must not go far, as cruelty against wild and domesticated animals still persists everywhere, in spite of new laws and regulations to protect the animals.

Sometimes, we can think that the hunted animals should have equal chances - but that is of course an illusion.

Sorry, I am not quite sure about XD - is it a laughing face? I translated the lyrics directly, but it is a word document with the two versions opposed to each other, side by side. And here, I can only add photos or videos.

O.K., but the table facing the two versions will be deleted.

    Note:
There is no adapted rhythm in English, the translation follows exactly what is being said.

They are now following each other, first the French version and then the translation:

    A bunny

This morning, in the autumn forest, something happened which nobody would have imagined.
(It happened) in the "Morte Fontaine" (dead fountain) forest where all the plain hunters go to in the slack season, because

This morning, a bunny killed a hunter.
It was a bunny who, it was a bunny who ...
This morning, a bunny killed a hunter.
It was a bunny - who had a gun.

They cried foul and blue murder,
As if it was justice when they killed the bunnies.
And under the hail of bullets coming from all the thickets,
abandoning the battle, the hunters fled,
    for
This morning, a bunny killed a hunter.
It was a bunny who, it was a bunny who ...
This morning, a bunny killed a hunter.
It was a bunny - who had a gun.

Of course, it is only a story, invented for the song.
But let us sing this story to them, when the hunters come back.

And if they get angry, leaning on their guns,
All we can do is mocking them this way:

This morning, a bunny killed a hunter.
It was a bunny who, it was a bunny who ...
This morning, a bunny killed a hunter.
It was a bunny - who had a gun.

This morning, a bunny killed a hunter.
It was a bunny - who had a gun.

Did you listen to the song?
I hope that you will like it

It might be of help. But to learn a language properly, you must also study the vocabulary and grammar. In Canada, they are certainly proposing French courses, or would you prefer to combine language lessons with holidays in Québec or Montréal, for instance? Can you watch TV5 http://www.tv5.org/? Try the news to start with and read also newspapers from Montréal and Québec, for instance "Le Journal de Québec". Books in French are also useful, and buy also "Le Petit Larousse". And if you are advanced, you can start with general knowledge games, for instance with QPUC (you need a good knowledge of French and of French culture) http://www.tv5.org/TV5Site/qp... - it is free.
