They finalized their divorce on my first birthday. However, my dad got re-married to his high school sweetheart and I consider her my mom. They've been together since I was like 5 years old.

After being married for 70 years, Dad died in February.

They separated when I was 16, then he came back for all the wrong reasons. Ever since then they do their best to avoid each other. My point was they stayed married and live in the same house (For the Kids they call it, load of bull says I.) but are in no way still together.

my birth mother killed her self and died five feet from my play pen when i was four and only left a empty bottle of pills and a broken glass and one picture for me to ever know her by i have no memories of her except a head stone and pain on mothers-day when i should be telling her how much i love her i am instead putting flowers and cleaning a head stone but i have never really accepted my step mother as a mom cause my real mother killing her self really put a wall and too much hurt to ever call any woman mother or mom but my father and me have a good relation ship we both go to the air show every year

Nope. I don't really mind as i haven't been around my father much until now. My parents still get along just fine, but I know the fact that my father is remarried still hurts my mama. But yeah, it doesn't bother me much.

We still do all family functions together. My mom brings...whoever she's with at the time, and my dad will do the same. And it works for us.
