No, but my dad once kissed me on the cheek at school one time while saying goodbye, I know I shouldn't have been embarrassed but I was in 8th grade and I got some kidding.

Remember, they weren't very good parents and I am 52 years old. ; ) I am not sad. I am a happy, healthy well-adjusted adult. I don't ever want anyone to feel badly for me. Life is good. LOL!

They embarrassed me as a teenager and they're still embarrassing me as a young adult. I don't think this will ever stop happening.
Edit: But I still love them.

Heck no. I don't think my parents have ever been embarrassing. Of course, sometimes my Mom embarrasses me at restaurants when she gets mad at waiters or waitresses. That's about the only thing embarrassing I can think of.

My dad is embarrassing because he is a bum. Thankfully he lives very, very far away.

My mother, on the other hand, is an amazing woman. She's always hospitable with my friends. Hell, one might say she treats them as kindly as she treats me. :)

I was never embarrassed by my parents. May have rolled my eyes a few times when my friends were around but nothing big. My Dad is gone now and Mom is 89. Enjoy your parents while you have them.

My Dad is a very... creepy, outspoken, loudmouthed know-it-all that has scared off more potential dates for me than I care to count, and my mom, although sweet at times, can be surprisingly passive-aggressive, and that often puts me in an awkward situation...

It's not really shocking but ok. Too many people whine about their parents being embarrassing when they are just normal people like everyone else. Everything is skewed in the eyes of angsty teenagers.

Yes, but sometimes it serves a good purpose. My dad can be so obnoxious, that if you want to make a quik exit, just take him with you. You'll get fast service because people will want to ensure your speedy withdrawl

Actually, I'm the parent. Sometimes I embarrassed my son just by being my silly self. Now that he is grown, he seems to very much enjoy that part of me. I just sent a very funny baby pic of him to share with 2 friends he was visiting. I always told them his funny baby stories and they loved it. He didn't mind that I sent the pic.
