My parents split up when my Dad left Mum & I for a new woman & her two kids. I resented him for replacing us for a long time but once I grew up I realised that we all had a better life now.

My Dad & step-Mum are still together after almost 30 years. They have one child together, plus her two from her first marriage. They are all adults now & I have a beautiful niece & nephew from my step-Sister & my step-Brother is about to marry a lovely woman we is great for him (so hoping for more nieces/nephews in the near future). My half-Brother is living with his partner who is also a sweet girl.

My Mum & step-Dad never married but have been together almost as long as Dad & step_mum. They have two gorgeous daughters together, both of whom are also adults now. One will be marrying her RAAF fiance in September this year & the other is living with her partner who is a nice fellow.

I am married with two beautiful daughters.

So divorced parents really didn't have a negative effect on me. In fact, quite the opposite. Mum & Dad had no desire to have more children together so had they not divorced I wouldn't have all my wonderful siblings, I wouldn't have had the love & support of an extra Mum & an extra Dad throughout my childhood & up to the present (& hopefully for a long time yet). My parents are Deceased. But I can remember lots of fighting between them when I was young. With all of that they still stayed together. I appreciate that cause hearing all of the affects of divorce from some family and friends. It seems to be a very difficult ordeal..

Well my real dad and mom are divorced. ( I never met my real dad so I just don't think about him much). But my mom and (step) dad are still together. This is my moms 3rd marriage and it has lasted the longest. I believe it will def. be til death do them part.
