It's all I've known really, I first married fresh out of Grad school had a ten yr.marriage.Divorced and remarried 5 months later that lasted 15 yrs,also divorced.I know it's where I'm at my best,where I excel.Having had good marriages to good men I can honestly say the worst times of being married are better than any good time I've had in being single the past 2 years.However that does NOT mean I'm ready to jump into another.

My husband and I were 26 when we married. We have been very happily married for almost 36 years. Regrets? Not a one. We waited for 5 years before having our only child (a daughter) so enjoyed each other and did a little traveling before starting a family. I love marriage.

I have been married twice....not sure I would get married again. I never want to go through another divorce so I would be very careful with my heart. I was married for almost 20 years the first time and I loved being married....if he could have only been faithful. I always said I would never marry again.....but I love being a wife and having a wonderful man beside me to love and adore so who knows? I am in no hurry and if it never happens then that is ok. But, I have so much love to give to the right person... so time till tell.

You're right....time will tell....but I am not desperate to have someone in my life....You know? I am just taking my time and see where my life goes.....I just want to enjoy the ride along the way and make the most out of each day....no matter what. :)

Should have been a maybe box. Been there, don't feel a strong desire to be "married" again, but that in no way means I don't want a serious committed relationship.

Good Healthy Attitude....
Refer to your previous Hubby's as Good men and good marriages...so rare to hear these days..Most are of hatred...
My second of 19 yrs were the happiest times of my life..I lost ther to my work..we are still friends after 9-years of divorce and we keep in touch and talk now and then...
I am looking for that same happiness of being in Love again, But with a woman is herself, and not a clone of what I had..

As is yours(good attitude) Never -ever compare,judge them solely on who they are.Do they treat you well? How they've lived and their future goals is key along with spotting the "damaged goods" and having the good sense to keep a billion light years away from the likes of.If I go on a date with a man and he has adverse things to say about his EX especially if she is the mother of his child(ren) It's a one and done.No apologies.

I think sharing my life with another person would be thrilling and exciting. Having a husband to come home to at the end of a long day sounds fantastic. I think I'd be good at caring for another person as well. I wanna make someone happy. :)

I married once to a manic/depressive bitch and then she divorced me and stole everything we planned for our retirement......she then had the nerve to die in Feb 2011.
I met and lived with another woman for around 10 years when OHSU doctors killed her.
So now I am looking again.........what age should she be?

I am Married...

I'm married for the second time. The first time, I was barely 21 (too young now that I look back on it). We were married for almost 4 years. No, it wasn't happy because he was a habitual liar and a cheater. Any regrets? No. I find everything a lesson learned, and if it hadn't been for the marriage, I wouldn't have Little Mister.

Second time: I was 27. Yes, I'm still married, we got married last August. We were best friends for almost 15 years before getting married. We're very happily married. It takes compromise to get there. We have never raised our voices to each other, and if we have a disagreement we sit down and discuss it. Then move on. I don't know that either of us would have appreciated what we have now if it hadn't been for the bad relationships we both had in the past.

It was not my first, we are still married and have been for almost 16 years, yes we are very happily married and no there are no regrets on my part and according to him none for him either.

I'm not going to put an age on it because that's too much like putting a deadline on it. Heck, if I never get married I'll be okay with that, it's just that I do rather like the idea. I would not mind marrying my boyfriend someday in the future, but it is WAY too early to seriously consider that. So I don't know if I know the person I want to marry.

I am currently divorced, but was married for 30 plus years. In spite of an unhappy ending to what was supposed to be happily ever after, I believe in love, and I believe in marriage. It takes real work. Any relationship cannot flourish without commitment and work, as well as loyalty and integrity. It's hard, but well worth it, when both put in the work.

I remain a hopeful romantic.

I got married when I was 28, should have never done it except for the kids it was a trial of terror. Technically still married, but haven't lived with the schmuck in over a decade.
