oh gosh then few weeks later iphone 10. anyhow i like my blackberry touch better. am too busy to be looking for aps. am a driver. i just need a phone period.
No, the iPhone is always months if not years late on technology & always way too proprietary & locked down. No thanks, the Galaxy SIII will do just fine by me.
i get them locking down the phone, but the pods and pads. come on!!! can't even use another software other than itunes. the product is nice, but let me do it on whatever music software i wish like other mp3. i hate being locked down the one and only problem of apple.
I use a cell phone as merely a cell phone not as an entertainment center, PC, GPS, or restaurant adviser, don't need AP's and don't require a phone to be my close pal.
I like my apple way better then pc or windows. Its a user preference. It has the same choices and you can do the same thing with it. I just only need to buy one phone for a year and not have to worry about a new one to get the newest up to date system.
I only have to buy 1 phone 2 years. Windows Phone is probably in the same boat as the iPhone. It's sandboxed in and all the apps work on all the phones. It's nothing like windows on a p.c.
I like to get a new phone every year. After a year the technology is old. Mine works great for me I have no complains. Its just as good if not better. Its depends on what your using it for and your personal preference. I get the same apps as my friend gets on there dum galaxy android and I have more stuff I can do with mine.
That's why when I got the chance to go from my Pre-Paid LG optimus V to my sister's at&t; contract, I went with the Nokia Lumia 900 instead of any of the other Androids that were the same price. I had wanted a windows phone for quite a while, and this was the first one I could find that had the screen size I wanted that was within my price range. I can't imagine why anyone would want to use an Android when you can Jailbreak an Iphone or a Windows Phone to do the same functions that are Android's Selling Point. Android will eventually go away.
Have you ever Developed for Windows Phone? It uses code that ALL developers should know, versus Android. Android has a huge amount of fracturing. Meaning that developers potentially have to develop different apps for different phones. On Windows and IOS you only have to make 1 app for all the phones. On android,in some cases it is quite the opposite. That's what makes Android harder to develop for.
This leads me to believe that you feel that a) the process of coding for WP7 is the same as the process of coding for iOS, and b) WP7/iOS apps are difficult to port to Android.
First, let me point you to the fact that Objective-C is, outside of Apple devices, one of the less useful programming languages. Second, Visual Studio does not support coding for Objective-C. Third, WP7 and Android can both be coded for in C++, whereas iOS cannot.
you know every smart phone dose. Its not mine or iphones fault the person that made the "comic" doesn't know how to use spell check. Its probably just created from paint.
Ive had six iPhones--one of every generation. After looking at my first gen and then the 4s, I realized something: nothing has really changed. Sure there are few enhancements here and there, but its still the same iOS. Im tired of iPhones, plain and simple. Next time Im getting an Android.
Yes I can agree with that. The camera has been upgraded too. But Im talking more about the phone's visual aspects like the home screen layout, safari, etc. In my eyes, its just the same old same old. I'm not saying its a bad phone though. It's actually a really good phone and I would recommend it to anyone new to the smartphone market. But for me, I want to have something completely different.
The addition of folders was great after the iphone 3. Safari is horrible so you really should be using something like Opera Mini. Much, much better.
There are apps like Libon Voicefeed (setup unlimited voice-mail for each person in your contacts if you feel the need...you also get your voice-mails emailed to you in mp3 form), Flipboard (the best app ever for all social media and news), Audio Kit (amazing app for anyone the sound engineering field), djay (just a lot of fun for music lovers), eprint (print wirelessly from your phone), Starwalk (you will never look at the night sky the same again) and on and on...the best phone....ever.
I am Waiting for iPhone 9 LOL jk, marketing and technology has figured out a way to get your cash money, by the time you get your iPhone 5 they are already talking about the iPhone 6. What a waste of materials and money. Initially I looked into it but then I saw what it did to some of my friends and family. I don't want to become an iZombie.
No need for the iPhone 5

Is there something I'm missing here...?
Or you could just develop on Titanium...
