i was raised in a very confusing setting of 1/2 jewish and 1/2 christian.
i follow no religion now as an adult... but i respect every other humans personal spiritual quest and never fault others for believing whatever they believe as long as they're not shoving it down my throat.

My Father was Church of Scotland, My Mother was Roman Catholic. Neither were what you'd refer to as practicing, so i was brought up with a fairly open view on religeon. I believe there is a god, but don't think any of the current religeons have his full name and postal address.

I was baptized as a Catholic attended Parochial school for a few years, but later on left the church. Tried Baptist, Methodist, Christian Science, Seventh Day Adventist a few more but did not care for any of them. I became Agnostic and although have deep faith in God have very little for man made religions.

I have founfd that NO religion is the BEST religion ! The supernatural and paranormal do not and cannot exist in an informed person. Only the ignorant can accept the weekly brainwashing that goes on in the religious institutions .

My parents were sixties sort of groovers. They sent us to a catholic school for the education (we were exempt from the religious classes, but I took them anyway and did not participate in the sacraments). They let us choose and when I became an adult I did.

I was born Jewish. I studied Judaism and I had my Bar Miitzvah. I further volunteered at my synagog for a spell.

However I hold no religious beliefs and consider the entire institution, any of them, to be useless to me.

According to the Jewish tradition you will always be a Jew..
First, traditional Judaism maintains that a person is a Jew if his mother is a Jew.

Practicing Judaism is diferent .. I know many people of Jewish decendancy that are Atheists, Agnostics, and many that also practice christianity..

You dont practice Judaism.. any more.....

I didn't say that, I said it was the best thing to come out of Christianity. Saint Nicholas, the "Spirit of Christmas", has been nothing but a good thing...then, there's , Christianity....Islam....Juda... take Santa!

Don't know why it didn't finish, I typed : Judaism, and, I'll take Santa!
