Valentine's Day sucks. But hopefully I'll have a girl to take out next Friday or Saturday lol, that's the plan.

I am definitely spending Valentine's with someone special, and that person is the love of my life. That person is none, other, than myself, and if I was in a relationship with someone she would get the same benefit, that would be, to get to spend Valentine's with me.

I have long since reached a point of realizing I am the one most special person I will ever know. I will never leave me, I will never argue with me, I will not disappoint me, I will not betray me, and if I ever do happen to do something stupid I will not leave me and take half of my possessions.

So you ask, am I spending Valentine's with someone special this year? My answer is by far, HELL YEAH....! JOMO

There is so much bad news out there today that I thought I would put forth a little good news.Today is February 1st and February 14th,Valentines Day is fast approaching.In 1980 The Mesa Tribune Newspaper put forth a Valentine Contest and was looking for poetry entries.At that time I was in a Creative Writing Class at Arizona State Univesity and thought, should I enter,why not.I came up with a poem for my wife Ruth and at that time, we were married 13 years.The Title was "The Universe should know of Ruth". Well to my happy surprise the poem came in 1st place with a grand prize of $25.00. The $25.00 is long gone but the poem is still alive. I pulled it from the 1980 archives and here it is. " The Universe Should Know of Ruth"
Life’s answers come a million fold
But the one most cherished in my life
Is the soft sweet tender yes she spoke
That transformed Ruth into my wife
Our years flashed on as lightning does
When summer storms set skies aglow
As raindrops fell throughout
Our days and nights
She sprinkled Love
And of my Ruth
I want the Universe to know.
