i would have said no but i was switched to a new dentist with my tricare and oh my god i have never experienced so much pain during a cleaning and all the blood.

I've never had any problems with my teeth, so I've never had any reason to be afraid of the dentist. Plus, my dentist's very nice.

I have had several really BAD experiences as a kid from welfare drs.
From that I have to take valum before going and use gas or I shake to badly for them to work on my (TERRIBLE) teeth and usually throw up after.
As a child I had very bad nutrition so my teeth did not develop right. From that I have to go 6x a year to keep them...and LOTS of $$$$$$$$$$

Dentists and police are THE most disliked professions in the world. NOBODY likes being pulled over or going to the dentist. Dentists are NOT there to hurt or torture you, so no, I have no reason to fear them.

Dentists and Orthodontists are not the same profession. I disliked going to the Ortho far more than I ever disliked going to my dentist. Could be why my dentist seems like nothing in comparison! You're right - going to the Ortho always guaranteed pain!

i had to go once for a root canal and the anestesia did not work so it hurt like a bitch , i dont wish to go there any more
