While I'm not afraid to die, and look forward to being in heaven some day, I'm currently way too busy right now, with way too much left to do, to worry about dying...and if it's all the same, I ask the Lord to have patience with me, and take His time bringing me home, for I got to get back to getting them all done. Have mercy Lord, Heaven can wait, but my family needs me now. : )

I am thankful I have had the past two years. Each morning when I awake, I know once more I've been given a reprieve. But should this be the day, then yes. Peace Love and Hope for the cure. October is breast cancer awareness month.

In 1957, my nursery school was across the road from a military facility that transmitted information between the DEW line and the silos. They showed videos on TV from the A-bomb tests of what they did to buildings. I decided I couldn't fear dying or I'd never learn to live, but not in those words.

I miss my Wife so much all day, every day with a heavy shattered heart since the moment held her in my arms and realized I had lost her that I am ready to join her in Paradise when I'm called but not a second before then.

I've tried to live an honest & sincere, peaceful life but accept I'll spend some time in Purgatory for the Sins that have slipped through the net of atonement - but the waiting, however long, is going to be worth it when compared to what, I pray God willing, will be an eternity of Blissful Serenity :)

To be perfectly honest, I think I am, but who knows what will happen when your time really comes. We hope and pray that we are ready and go with dignity, and hopefully that will be the way it happens.
