Are you living the life you deserve to live?

Good question on many levels. My first impulse was no - partly because of the economy, but mainly because of my brother-in-law's major medical conditions, I now live with my sister to help her take care of him. Does he deserve Parkinson's and dementia - no; does my sister deserve having to take care of him - no. Do the people all over the world deserve the starvation they live in? I have tried to live my adult life since becoming a Christian as loving, honorable and simple - a life that honors God..........and in trying to do so, I've learned I don't want justice, I want mercy in life. My situation, like many others could be much better, but it could be so very much worse. So am I living the live I 'deserve'? I don't know, but I do know that I am where I am supposed to be in life, and that, to me, says a lot.

You are correct. I get your drift. I haven't been on a vacation since '07. Is it because I didn't deserve it? No, it's because our economy sucks and the cost of living has skyrocketed while salaries have stagnated and/or decreased. Ah...such is life. ;)

I wasn't saying I deserve anything over all the other people. I meant it in the sense that if I would have taken advantage of opportunities that were presented to me and did the things I am starting on now I would have been further along in life.

I really love my life. There isn't anything I'd want better. Maybe just not to have bipolar, but other then that, I'm good. And even having bipolar has brought a sensitivity in and of itself that I appreciate. I've been successful in treatment too and I love to share how in hopes others accept this within themselves and get a well as they can.
