I think that this poll was doomed by default since a characteristically unkind thing to do would be to falsify poll responses.... kind of bakes your noodle doesn't it?
Of course we are all kind to others, especially if we want something from them. The real question should be are we kind to others more than we are not. This is not to say you still wont get untrue percentages as you are getting now.
I think I am a nice person - I actually get embarrassed when I am with someone who is rude..It would bother me to think that I ruined someones day by being mean..life is too short
It's easy for me because I live in the bush and hardly ever see anybody. That said, it's part of the reason why I moved there...so I don't have to see the degeneration of the world's people firsthand, and consequently react to it.
A person who is kind to others will not act like a news reporter asking questions to give guilt in an attempt to make people look bad. A person who is kind will not act like the scribes, and Chief priests. They will see others as better than they are judging themselves being forgiving. slow to anger, merciful not giving evil for evil, not being sneaky loving with deception or dissimulation. Kind people don't jail people. Jesus never did. Kindness knows there is a final Judgment.
I do my best to be kind to other unless given a reason otherwise(if given a reason otherwise I fully admit I can be a bit of a bitch). It makes my day to know I made a person smile. Also, I find that by being nice to others a lot more people are nice to me.
Even sometimes to my disappointment and inconvenience I am kind to others. I have learned to scale back though because some people are selfish and unappreciative. I am a spiritual person, therefore, I believe God rewards our kindness through a variety of blessings.
To people who are kind and even if someone is not, but the ones who are not only get a couple of chances and then I destroy them if they need it and I do it without a bit of guilt.

I sure try to be, but I have had to get upset a few times in my life at those that just wouldn't be quite and kept pushing me. But, it takes a lot before I say anything.
See as a rule I've found it best to ignore strangers as much as possible. So I'm not liked by alot of salesman and Jahovah's witnesses. A quick smile and exit does wonders. Not good for my rep but great for my sanity.
but these days i repented. people always take advantage of me and to be honest,i'm pretty tired. the problem is i don't know how to be different so it does not change anything.
