According to the Congressional Budget Office, the last-minute fiscal cliff deal reached by congressional leaders and President Barack Obama cuts only $15 billion in spending while increasing tax revenues by $620 billion—a 41:1 ratio of tax increases to spending cuts. I suppose if you are aprox.50% of us that work for a living and pay for the rest of everyones bills and taxes, I'm not too thrilled about it at all........

I was kind of inspired, right now I've got motivation for a KakaIru doujinshi and a mini manga based on an idea I had for a real manga. I already have most of the main character's drawn out.. Lets hope I finish them before the fabled motivation dies ^^

Everthing seems to pick up in the second half of the year and you also get the holiday spirit, so by the time New Year swings in I just feel flat and not at all inspired.

The Senate just passed an Obama - blessed $600 billion tax hike. That is 41 dollars in new taxes for every dollar of spending cuts. Things are not looking good for us.

I'd rather not be a cynic and feel hopeless about the new year. Now don't get me wrong. I don't believe the New Year signifies this year is brand new, for me its a way of reminding that there's a whole other year and that the future is somewhat your own.

This year, at least, I'm feeling inspired. But that could be because I'm finally doing something with my life, and going to school for it. In the past, though. Yeah, more often than not, the new year would always leave me feeling "eh."
