Are You Good With Managing Your Money?

I am much better now than I was in my 20s. Growing up poor, I had some very bad money habits that took me a long time to break.

While I could be on a tighter budget..I do splurge on the kids

I stay afloat.

I have to be, otherwise we would end up homeless, and hungry.

I used to manage money very well, but then university rolled around the corner and now I have much less money

Now that the ex is out of the bank account I actually see it growing

I have been very good with managing my money... My accountant ... thought I would be broke a long time ago ... but I am not wasteful...or frivilous ..except for when it comes to telling my son No... I tell him ... but then I cave in

i've always lived paycheck to paycheck and never had enough money to cover the bare minimum... it's not really that i can't manage my money it's more like i can't ever create enough income to pay the basic bills on time.
thankfully i've never opened lines of credit and amassed a huge pile of debt. i pay for what i have and if i can't afford it i don't buy it.

Well, i wouldn't know about that, but at least i have money to spend.

Each time I get pocket money... it disappears in a week. I have no idea how that happens. It just does. Magic.

I'm good at it and I like to do it. I would very much enjoy managing a lot more of it.

When I have it yes.

I have no debt, own my home, only one credit card (which is paid off every month, pay no interest), own my cars, money in the bank and savings. It has not always been that way. I have always lived within my means, Saved money even when it was hard. Work hard, got promotions, put that extra money up for the future.

Realized at a very young age, (my dad died when I was 16) I was responsible for my self only. I never expected help from others and never got any either. This the way it should be, unless you are lucky enough to be born into a very rich family. Even if that is the case, you have to work hard to keep the wealth of what those before you worked hard to make.. Depending on the government is so wrong, in actuality you are depending on your neighbors, friends, family and strangers to take care of you, You are not any different than the next person, you were both born the same way, so don't blame them for your problems. You get our of life what you make of it.

Yeah.. Even with my small allowance when I was still a student, I saved enough money to buy myself a new cellphone.. and even made lists of my expenses every month..

All if us mess up a little from time to time but if you spend less than you make you will be ok. But, always put away as much as you can because there is always something coming along to take it away. But better to be ready than have to borrow for an emergency. Always , always more revenue is the key. How can you increase you revenues. That is the real answer. Our Gov could increase rev by fertilizing the business environment and have enough money for every pet entitlement they love. But, alas they prefer the slow and hard way. Don't you love the liberal policy? There is a way to have your cake and eat it too, but they won't .

Yes, I think so. I've overdrawn my bank account a few times in my life, but I knew what I was doing and never had any problems paying it off.
