I am. So far, I have not given in to the urges to boycott said websites and businesses or to take the time to go to Facebook to delete my account, but those urges get stronger by the day!

Yes, I don't have a Facebook so apparently if I want to benefit more from the company I have to create one to recieve more discounts... BS

    Curious in Texas
Absolutely, since I had a facebook account for only a very short time and deleted it due to attempted identity theft on my account (deleted Jan 2010)

Agree 100%. I think the founder is a schmuck.

I really find the whole concept of Facebook disturbing. People, particularly young people, are growing up believing broadcasting their entire life on the internet is normal. It isn't. Young people don't know the concept of keeping personal information personal.

Yes! Especially when I answer a friends question. I have to exit the "x" that states I want to share it on FB. If I wanted to share my FB with SH I will do so...myself! I do not need a prompt to connect.

I really hope that it's not a paid advert that SH has aligned with FB. If so, I hope it's worth the ad costs that they are bringing in for it.

My FB is a VERY private communication site for my family across the country. I want to keep it that way. My trivial answers on SH do not incite news that my family needs.

Yes, I did get tired of it. Then I deleted my account... Facebook is much too invasive in many areas and I would rather not have to deal with that.

not only am I getting tired of that, but I was exhausted with the "woe is me, my life sucks, people suck" status updates that some people drop 50 times a day, years ago. I wish Myspace would go back to 2005 form when it was decent.

I don't like facebook, and try to avoid it unless absolutely necessary for something I want to do.

No one. But I'm simply stating that it doesn't bother me because I have control over it. ;)

You have control over seeing Facebook plastered over every door of a business you visit or the fact that the Facebook emblem is shoved in your face when visiting an unrelated website? That's my question.

I was thinking of online. I don't see it everywhere in person when I visit different places. Not once.

    Sorry I misunderstood you. LOL

No, but I don't sign into facebook with anything but facebook. I'm not a fan of anything through facebook either.
