When you go to Comment on a poll, do you get a "Please clear your cache/cookies" page and do you sometimes get a "blank page" thingy where you have to retype in the website to get back? It's happening here a lot and is real annoying

I get them when for some reason I have to use Windoze, which is rare. The Linux programs like Ubuntu are much better about that.

Yes, I get the blank page and have to retype the website all the time. I mean really often. I'm on dial-up up here in the mountains, so I thought it was my computer. It certainly is annoying.

I live in the sticks of west central Alabama and I know about that dial up. It is cheap but really sucks.

I understand where you're coming from. I used to get the "blank page" thing a lot. I haven't had many problems since I switched to Google Chrome. It's faster too.
No I don't work for them or have any affiliation whatsoever.
I do hate when I'm on a site and want to comment, but can't because I'm not a member of Facebook. Never will be. Or Twitter. SH is my "social network" and I can't keep up with this, which explains my delay in answering questions. Sorry, trying to keep up the best I can.

Try removing any excess tool bars and or running your browser in privacy, secure or, "without add-ons" mode. However, the best long term solution may be to try a different browser.

They are called 404 Error's and tend to go with sites that overgrow the size of their servers. It happens alot with people that try to maximize profits aka CHEAP people. It tends to lose money also if it happens alot.

I've not had that issue come up on Chrome, and I don't get on Sodahead with any other browser because in 5 years of using this site, I can safely it runs the smoothest on Chrome.
