I'm thoroughly disgusted in how marc lamont hill is labeling this guy as a super hero.

I have to say, I support his ultimate goal/dream (to end the corruption of the LAPD and other police forces) but not his way of going about it. If only he had realized he was giving the LAPD a way to look like heroes again (more so than exposing their corruption) and harming innocent people. The guy was clearly nuts.
I was listening to a song earlier that reminds me of how I feel about watching these sorts of things unfold as if it's a form of entertainment.....

I was listening to a song earlier that reminds me of how I feel about watching these sorts of things unfold as if it's a form of entertainment...feeling sorry for those harmed, but not being able to stop watching (like "watching a train wreck). I'll admit, it's happened to me.
Knowing there's a possibility of a murderer taking a friend or acquaintance hostage or taking refuge in one of their cabins certainly makes it very, very real (and at the same time feels unreal, oddly enough). When there's nothing personal about it, there seems to be a major disconnect for a lot of people and it seems more like fiction. I think the lyrics here are pretty fitting:
