Nobody is PRO abortion. I'm Pro Choice. A woman should have the right to chose what is best for her. I don't believe it should be used as "birth control" though, and only in the first trimester.

BUT, I also believe that if made illegal, the number of deaths will increase exponentially. Women searching for backwoods, dark ally and coat hanger abortions will die.

I am neither for or against it. I AM JUST TOTALLY AGAINST MEN trying to Control Women's Bodies. I say lets have more Legislation on Penis Control.

There are cases where there are extenuating circumstances for some Abortions. I want all of the Pro-life people at the Clinics with a Contract in their hands saying to any woman or girl headed in that direction to give them a Contract saying I will take that Baby and raise it in a home and family. NOT FOSTER CARE. That will go a long ways towards less abortions.

Also, I want all of the Pro-Lifers, to stop doing DAMAGE IN SOCIETY to those children saved from Abortion, and then they are left with nothing but to grow up in miserable communities, homes and then Pro-lifers HAVE NO PROBLEM WAREHOUSING THEM in the CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM and then they will truly be a drag on Society and then the Political Systems takes over their lives, especially on the RIGHT WITH MORE JAILS TO WAREHOUSE these CHILDREN and They are also the SAME POLITICIANS, people who want to Eliminate, Teachers and a chance at Education, jobs, and the Middleclass and opportunities for these children to grow up to be productive citizens of Society.

Before we get to that we, want to make sure THESE CHILDRENS' chances of surviving Right Wing Draconian Policies are NIL AND NONE.

I WANT Governors like Gov. Bob McDonnell in Virgina, to IMPLEMENT TRANSPENIAL CONTROL before any sperm is released by men.

Being a male, I'm neither for or against the procedure ... I am, however, very strongly in favor of allowing such a personal decision to be made by the individual(s) d-i-r-e-c-t-l-y affected/concerned by the matter, not having to bend to someone's (different) views on the subject.

Just not that simple. There is rape, of course, when one may not have access to the morning after pill which is the only "medicine" that would help in that case. There are also "accidental" pregnancies that occur even with the use of medical birth control. Then there are impulsive teens who sometimes act before they even think of obtaining any form of birth control. The issue of whether or not a 1-3 month old fetus is a "someone" is, course, at the heart of the matter. I had a miscarriage at 2 months and mourned what I felt was my lost and very much wanted child. However, I don't feel I have the right to impose my personal feelings on any other woman who may be dealing with an unwanted, unwelcome, and unplanned pregnancy that could affect her life in many negative ways. This is an issue for each WOMAN to decide for herself, not for a legislature of mostly males to dictate.

    many people are pro choice

More Americans “Pro-Life” Than “Pro-Choice” for First Time

Also, fewer think abortion should be legal “under any circumstances”

    by Lydia Saad

PRINCETON, NJ -- A new Gallup Poll, conducted May 7-10, finds 51% of Americans calling themselves "pro-life" on the issue of abortion and 42% "pro-choice." This is the first time a majority of U.S. adults have identified themselves as pro-life since Gallup began asking this question in 1995.

    "Pro-Choice" Americans at Record-Low 41%

Americans now tilt "pro-life" by nine-point margin, 50% to 41%

    by Lydia Saad

PRINCETON, NJ -- The 41% of Americans who now identify themselves as "pro-choice" is down from 47% last July and is one percentage point below the previous record low in Gallup trends, recorded in May 2009. Fifty percent now call themselves "pro-life," one point shy of the record high, also from May 2009.

Government statistics are the most suspect ... as: (for years) Agent Orange did no harm to our troops; concerns/fear of radiation from atomic explosions could be overcome with proper training; marijuana is a 'gateway' drug, etc., etc. etc.

It should be a personal decision, not a policy.

This topic is super controversial, but yes I am against it only because its murder, and its sad that abortion can prevent a baby from seeing the wonders of the world. But then again, never being a mom, I can't really say much about this topic because when it comes to situations like rape, young ladies having sex without protection and defective babies, the whole story changes. But either way, even if majority of the people claim to be against abortion, its still going to happen in this world. Just how things will always be.

No third option?! Well I consider myself a moderate. I'm all for first trimester abortions if that is what the woman wants(or needs if she's a drug addict). But unless its for the health or life of the mother, the baby is dead, dying, or will die at birth, or the baby is so deformed they will have a very bad quality life, I'm against late term abortion. I'm a mom. I know from personal experience they are very much alive and kicking by then. What I can't stand is the fact that it seems to be the hip thing for people to either support ALL ABORTIONS, for the whole pregnancy and beyond...or to be so against it they are even against birth control.

People today are extremists. Y'all are sheep that can't think for yourselves. I'm sorry to be a bitch..but I've dealt with extremists on here, facebook, yahoo...and in real life.
