Sometimes, I'm afraid I may not be God's elect and may be headed to the lake of fire. Do any of you feel that way? I was just wondering if you might be afraid you're headed to the lake of fire that's found in the Book of Revelation.

Rev 20:14 'and death and Hades were hurled into the lake of fire. This means the second death, the lake of fire. Rev 21:8 But as for the cowards and those without faith and those who are disgusting in their filth and murders and fornicators and those practising spiritism and idolaters and all the liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulphur. This means the second death.
The symbolic wuiality of the lake of fire is further evident from the context of references to it in the book of Revelation. Death is said to be hurled into this lake of fire.(rev 20:14) Death obviously cannot be literally burned. Moreover, the Devil, an invisible spirit creature, is thrown into the lake. Being spirit, he cannot be hurt by literal fire.
Since the lake of fire represents 'the second death' and since rev 20:14 says that both 'death and Hades' are t be cast into it,it is evident that the lake connot represent the death man has inherited from Adam, nor does it refer to Hades(Sheol). It must, therefore, be symbolic of another kind of death, one that is without reversal, for the record nowhere speaks of the 'lake' as giving up those in it, as do Adamic death and Hades(Sheol). So, those not found written in 'the book of life', unrepentant oppersers of Gods soereignitym are hurled into the lake of fire, meaning eternal destruction, or the seond death. :)

reporter asked him how safe the Titanic would be. With an ironic tone he
said: Not even God can sink it. The result: I think you all know what
happened...

Many more important people have forgotten that there is no other name
that was given so much authority as the name of Jesus. Many have died,
but only Jesus died and rose again, and he is still alive.

If the bible is infallible why didnt the original story tell it that way????And then there wouldnt have been two conflicting stories...

These contradictions in the bible prove there are more than one writer of the same myths only with a different twist.. Only one can be true, the other a lie, which one..

I can show hundreds of these contradictions, and they will always try to twist them to fit.. If the bible is the Inherant word of god, then why are there contradictions? It either means what is says or it doesnt? if it doesnt then it is a lie.. When there are two stories of some event and they dont match??????
and then comes the question,, If these stories are true why then didnt the historians of the time record them,, OH NO the only records are in religious texts.. The Greek and roman Historians were very maticulous in the recording of history.. Funny none of them ever recorded anything about this Jesus dude, and The Crucifixion, and all the other non events....
