It may be frightening to comtemplate, but it's not a thought that initially downright scares me. It is very likely scary for someone who does not believe in life after death, though.
im afraid of being old, loopy, peeing myself and being treated like a dog by some barely educated "care" worker. death would be a blessing in comparison.
I am afraid of dying in prolonged pain and suffering, because from what I have heard and experienced from family members, it is not peaceful and calm!!! Cancer is VERY PAINFUL and it seems alot of people are dying from that nowadays!!! Death does not scare me, it is just another phase we go through (I believe in the after life, so yeah).
..now HOW i die is a whole 'nother story..>.<
