or rather I used to be a saver. I use to put away at least 10% of everything I earned and 25% of what my spouce earned. It has served us well untill this economy slumped. We still have our savings but it is dwindling and we can't add as much too it... Once things pick up again I will go back to saving as much as possible...

I buy what I need to buy. I believe in taking care of the necessities first and once in a while I buy
something to treat myself. I've always been pretty frugal and I like to shop sales and I even use coupons whenever I can. I have a very nice bank account because I've been very practical with my spendings for many years and it really paid off !
