Are You a Serious Person or a Kid at Heart?

I guess I'm a little of both. But I sure remember and cherish being a child.

Well... kinda depends actually... but I'm more serious than I am a "kid at heart"....

But I guess my grand / great grand kids all tell me I am the biggest old teddy bear they ever saw. Maybe I am getting soft in my old age.

I'm a serious person. An individual would have to get close to me to see the kid at heart, then the let good times roll ... :)

I am told I am too much of a kid at heart but my life seems to make me feel like the weight of the world rests on my shoulders. I get hurt too easily and life is not much fun.

Well then you should have chose kid at heart and let the kid inside you carry you
over the rough edges. Let your burdens go and learn to be lighthearted. You'll feel
like a new person, truly like a kid at heart.

I can't seem to turn loose of the pain that I feel about my life. I am truely unhappy most of the time. It makes me hate my life.

I empathize and join the crowd. Like you there are millions but you have
one life and life is short and you either decide to make the best of it or let it get the best of you. I thought you found happiness and had a girlfriend. That doesn't always work out here on SH. I know all about that. Been there, done that. Don't hate your life. It is a gift from God and what you do with your life is your gift to God. You need to do some soul searching and find out what you truly need in your life to be happy. Weed out what you don't need in your life and make room for that thing that will make you happy. Then go after it. You are not alone. You have children. You have friends here on SH like me to talk to. Tell yourself today that you are going to be happy. I'm often told that I never grew up. I have a very youthful personality and a witty
sense of humor and I love to joke around. I am a party girl and I love having
a good time. Kid at heart best describes me and I will always be one.

I think I'm probably a little too serious but I do love to let my hair down sometimes. As one of my friends said to me last week: "You were born middle aged"....I'm 20

I've always seen m'self as a more serious person, but some people just keep on insisting I'm dastardly immature.

This is what I get all the time from people: "Oh you're 20? I thought you were still 15..."

I have a serious small side (because I do work with children) but I have a crazy fun side!

I work in the school system and i get mean remarks and strange glances bc i get down with the kids but when it is time to teach then teach the rest of the kids i let the kids know that they can trust me and let the kids that school dont have to be boring.

i always like joke and play around. :)

Both. Mom is a kid @ heart, dad is serious and I got both of their persona combined :)

One needs to have both. But I think I take life seriously most of the time..

Depends on the time and place. I can be serious about serious matters, but if by a kid at heart this poll means I jump into large blue pools from rocky bluffs in clothes, sing out loud in my car, laugh whenever possible, and dance in the streets, then yes. I am very much a kid at heart.
