I bought a home, paid for it, owe no money to any bank, but I have to pay a lot of money every year to live in it and at any time the government can seize it without just cause under the guide of Eminent Domain which gives me no recourse. So based on how things are, NOBODY owns a home!!!!!!

homie, i sorta cause we pay a type of mortgage that lets us sell anytime with no penalty. We bought from the association that built the house and manages the neighborhood

Not any more and not that I ever truly was.
Nobody owns their own property even if it's paid off and even if you have your name on a deed you likely don't own the mineral rights and definitely not the air space.

When I got divorced 10 years ago, my ex said I would never do well. Ha! Although I am ** years old, I bought a foreclosed property on my own, qualified for the mortgage on my own and now live in a gated community in a 4/3/3. This is a huge accomplishment! It can be done!!!!
