No, it tastes awful, but I still drink it when offered since I'm still curious to experience what it's like to be drunk. But I still never have had that much to drink, all I've ever felt was warmness and either slight sleepiness or energization. I do like that warm feeling in my throat when I drink an alcoholic drink, though, even if the taste is usually awful (cream liqueur has been the only drink that has tasted good to me so far).

I like reds more. If the bubbles are gone, it's just another insipid white with no character.

Good champagne doesn't always mean a higher price tag. I've had cheap ones that are just as good, if not better than some of the higher priced ones.

I've always been a champagne gal. I love champagne and I drink it on all holidays
and sometimes when I just get a craving for it I pop open a bottle. I always have a few bottles of champagne on hand just in case the occasion calls for it ! XD

Learn by our mistakes, drinking is bad for you especially last night. My head has stopped banging now. Alcohol is evil, every time. LOL. XXX

No seriously everything is okay in moderation, you have freedom of choice when your 21. But you have your own reasons why you do not like alcohol and I am not going to pry. .I wish I had just a little of your sense when I was young .

aw... my reason is it just isn't good for u at all.
I use to obsess about how bad alcohol is for u. i used to get mad as ever when I saw adults drinking and they try to tell me not to.
  • Serenity BuggaBoo 2013/01/02 04:41:23

Yes, have to agree with you there, there were some adults here not setting good examples to the kids around here last night. My daughter made me laugh she had a guzzle of a cocktail and thought she was drunk bless her
I think it is a lot more dangerous to drink these days for young adults because the alco pops are so delicious and very deceiving in their alcohol content because of the taste. But none the less will get them very drunk and sick

Now those I have never tried but heard they are very alcoholic, I have tried to drink my friends literally under the table with Tequila shots. 1,2,3, floor. Yep that's where you end up with any shots and a blazing hangover the next day . I shall have to ask my friend Vikki if she has tried these jello shots. Actually I bet her daughter has she is 18.

I'd rather not indulge in a substance that ruins both my judgment and my dignity. Can't stand the taste either.

That's good, practical things you can solve but writers block, that's a different matter. Do you have a dead lines in the writers world, or is it a case of it is done when it is finished 2years, 5years. Etc. Have you been published?? I know a few writers on SH, I find what you do to be fascinating, we all have thoughts, but to write a book wow. I have a published book of poems that was signed by the poet personally for me because his girlfriend showed him some of my poems, one of my most treasured items 20years old now. I have never been brave enough to do what you do .Tell me how do you get over the fear and write a book ???
  • Crime Time Serenity 2013/01/07 18:23:33
    Crime Time
No there's no deadlines.. but yeah, there's something I wanna do badly with my money, and that is LASIK surgery. I haven't been published but my mom and Freshman English teacher wanted me to get this poem looked at, at a time I was more religious, but I forgot about it and was asked to rewrite it by my mom but I can't remember too much info on it :/ And writing a book is a lot of work, it takes a lotta patience and time and the problem is I have wasted a lot of time since it has been done. Alcohol and fatigue has been a severe setback while writing, and has accounted for most of the mistakes I have made in it. It takes a very outgoing and creative mind to write. While some of the things I write may seem crazy and whacked out to one person, millions other may adore it. For example, NowhereLand is an over the top piece about several survivalists in a very bad crime riddled town with political and moral corruption, and some of the over the top things included in the piece are an alien artifact missing since the early 90s, an illegal LASIK and gene retherapy facial surgeon in the hills, haunted areas and a drug named TANTRA, which can cause severe insanity. so yeah haha it takes a lot of thought and I've always been noticed as being in thought. That's usually when I'm coming up with stuff
