I am a copy cat in public situations, though... I'm socially awkward, so I mimic those around me, in order to fit in better. I don't change my personality, I just focus on not being a freak.

One of the best compliments I've received was from two of my former bosses: "You are a sui generis, when God created you, he broke the mold so there wouldn't be another like me". It could be difficult to be a sui generis as you are like a square peg in a round hole world however, I've made a success of my life so it is good to be different. There are actually others like me so I am not all alone in this world.
Only when it comes to dancing or something along those lines. I've always wanted to look and dance like the instructors who taught me, and my kids do the same with me. So when you see my team you can tell who taught them, because they move like me.
