We have one of each, awesome aren't they? This one looks like our Yorkie, except our's ears stick up more, our Morkie's ears flop.

Good grief. You've got a big heart Rick. Bishon's are so darned adorable.
We have had two dogs during our marriage. Our second one (a cockapoo) died about 6 years ago. My husband and I decided we will never get another dog. The thought of putting one more to sleep because of illness is more than we could bear. We babysit the neighbor's dog when they go out of town. Our daughter (In Cincy) and her husband are going to a wedding in Chicago in a few weeks and we're coming down there to dog sit Marty. Maybe I'll pass you on the street. LOL

Quite frankly I think cats are the mean ones. I find it so lovely when you approach them and they hiss. What's up with that?

Cat Person

I'm a cat girl got one myself. why because they aren't that much a big pain declaw them potty box and vet feed them and they leave you alone except needing to be petted now and again. Heck they aren't a lot of trouble to me really I don't know never had a dog but to much responsibility for me. To expensive. although my family pays for my cat to. Because I can't afford it but my Persian is sweet and has the best of my love!

I love ALL animals, but I just adore cats! While they don't always warm up to you immediately, as a dog does, once you win them over, they are every bit as loving, loyal, playful and cuddly as a puppy! I have bottle raised kittens from three days old...I had to feed them warmed formula every 2-3 hours, and even massage their tiny bellies ( taking care not to disturb the tiny umbilical cords ) to get their elimination and excretion functions going properly! I would do it again if needed! (of course, they were orphaned...it is ALWAYS best to leave baby animals with their mothers as long as possible! 8-12 weeks is best!)
