"You must be born again," said Jesus to Nicodemus. And so was I. That happened on November 9, 1990, one year to the day after the Fall of the Berlin Wall, and 42 years to the day after Kristalnacht. And I've been a sane man ever since.

I use to be a christian until the angel Gabriel told me that
ALL of the chrurches are guilty of abominations and that what they teach is brainwash! That is what the prophet Muhammad said in the Koran! Now i am Muslim!

The term "born again" is not baptism or a prayer but an event. If you have doubts, you are not. Doesn't it make sense that a baby is aware of being born? It is a dramatic event. Jesus said that one must be born of water (natural birth) and the spirit to enter the kingdom of God, who is spirit. Just as small children have certain similar tendencies (selfishness, hitting, not listening, etc.) so does the born again man. It is the receiving of a new nature, given only by Christ Jesus, for no other religion teaches this principal. It is that moment when HE accepts you because you believe. WE DO NOT ACCEPT HIM. He is God and has no need of our acceptance for we do not save Him. When His Word is received in the heart and becomes life. Check out Genesis, God spoke life to the all creation but man. His breath brought man to life. Of course, Jesus Christ is the manifested Word of God. Jesus who said "I am the beginning and the end..." and the word which reads "In the beginning (Jesus) God created the heavens and the earth. All mortal life will cease in time. But, the born again man is forever.

We are all born into sin. So being born again, to me, marks the day I gave my life over to Christ, my second, spiritual birth opposed to my physical birth. Just because I've been a Christian all my life doesn't mean I wasn't reborn. I was still baptized a few years back.

That's never a bad thing. :) The Bible says to question everything. I believe in God but have little faith in Him sometimes. It's nothing to be ashamed of, but simply something to work on.

    >>>The Bible says to question everything.>>>

    Huh?

Question everything? The Bible says to question EVERYTHING?

    Sorry, but no, it doesn't.

Jesus said, I am the way and the TRUTH and the life. He told the disciples, and us, to "follow me."

There is no "questioning" being suggested there. It's very cut and dry.

That doesn't mean you can't explore your surroundings. As a Christian, I'm obviously a follower of Christ. And yet my church debates scripture and its meanings all the time. Challenging your beliefs only makes them stronger once you find answers. If you keep those contradictory thoughts to yourself and let them bubble up inside, you find yourself doubting your faith altogether.
