Most people do not understand or care about the difference between objective law and mob law, nor do they understand that laws must be based on individual rights and kept as simple and as few as possible in order to maintain a free civil society.

I have noticed many people, when asked about some behavior or about a law, will say "They do it so we should too!" For instance, when asked if people should have to be subjected to random drug tests, some people will say, "I have to take them so everyone should too." or when asked about racial pride some people will say, "They do it so we should be able to do it too." In each case it is something generally undesirable, and rather than saying, "No one should do this.", many choose to say everyone should do the wrong thing or everyone should have to suffer the same indignity as themselves. This makes the world a worse place to live in.
