Are women taking over the world? According to The End of Men, an upcoming book by Atlantic editor Hanna Rosin, they're getting pretty close -- and in many cases, they're leaving their men behind. Today, The End of Men reports, women earn almost 60 percent of all bachelor's degrees, hold more than half of all managerial and professional jobs, and are soaring in the ranks of medical, law, and business schools.

Recruitment and academia is completely bias towards aiding the success of women over men. They were right to attempt to balance it out around but they went too far. This sociological transformation is sacrificing the employment of talented males and encouraging feminism which fuels divorce rates and consequently worse off future generations. So congratulations and all that, but the consequences aren't as flowery as the blue chip diversity right up's suggest.

I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Women have always ruled the world. Do you honestly think there would be war and what not if baby boys grew on trees? Men wanting to impress their women are the only reason there is war. To get women more stuff. If there were only men, we would have never moved out of the caves. Now that women are taking more of a leadership role, we can expect more and more war. What do you think is going to happen when the female president of whattheheckeverstan comments that the female president of the USA has a big ass? Nuke'em!

just look at the world around you generally and not only in the first world countries. Women are still denied their human rights. some were treated worse than the men that society value more. seeing this, I don't think women are taking over the world...

I feel that men are finally noticing the contributions that women are responsible for in society and giving them the recognition they deserve as opposed to before when they would just pat them on thier heads and tell them to find a seat in the back row while they take credit for it., that had been going on and in part still is, thankfully its 2012 and things that were not acceptable are becoming acceptable, and they should be, giving women the accolades they deserve for what they do! Some are continuing and finishing thier education, becoming executives, owning fortune 500 company's, stocks, all the while being successful in juggling home life and children, and yes they have entered feilds that were closed off to them for quite sometime being told its a man's world, some still shudder at the thought that they have broken ground and have surpassed all expectations in those areas. Congratulations ladies, you are all success stories as well as role models forever, much health and more success to enable you to soar higher.

I find it ironic how the ancient Greeks considered women the dominant sex because of the birthing process. Notice how all Creation mythos center around a female Creator of the Universe.

    It's called "Equality" jackass.

Women have the oppertunity to excell in these professions and are now DOING it, so if you are a man, and think that YOU should be getting these jobs, then GET OFF YOUR ASS AND EARN THEM!

There is no reason you shouldn't and men do not deserve to have the world handed to them on a platter any more then women do.

As far as the working class is concerned, men and women are at a balance. They work as hard as the other.

It is NOT women we have to worry about. It is the NEW WORLD ORDER we need to worry about taking over if we don't ban together and take them over first.

Yes, I like to get the point across and I like to hear the other persons point so long as there is no arguing. I cannot stand arguing. You are the first person I have been able to have a civil conversation with on objecting views. Everyone else has always gotten out of hand so badly I have had to block them. Some people just cannot keep their cool.
