Absolutely. Donald Trump lives in an apartment made of gold. American children whine about not getting the perfect present for Christmas. American adults whine about not having an SUV as new as the Johnson family's SUV.

I live in Thailand, an underdeveloped country. Women here come from their poor village to Bangkok and sell themselves to lonely white men for money to send back to their family. I see malnourished children living on the sidewalk on a daily basis. The country that neighbors us, Cambodia, is home to one of the highest child prostitution populations in the world. Again, pedophile western men go there to have sex with children, and the children are forced, and sold into it by their parents. In this way, the world is wholly unfair. It is wrong, but it will never be made right. I've seen things that have made me cry here. When I go back home, I know I'll have learned so much from my time here. I already look at things with such a clearer head. I truly can no longer whine about the material things I don't have, because I've seen people at the very lowest that a human being can be subjected to.

I don't really have an answer for that, but I can assure you that so many people around here are struggling beyond belief. I think a major problem in a lot of underdeveloped countries is the extreme disparity of the classes. For example, in places like Thailand and Cambodia, you are either rich or poor. There is not much of anything in the middle. If you are born into a rich family, you don't need to worry. If you are born into a poor family, you will likely always be poor. Here in Thailand, the majority of doctors here were born into wealthy families, therefore they had the opportunity to go to a good college and become a doctor. Poor people don't have that opportunity, therefore, the cycle is just perpetuated over and over again. The poor and uneducated do extreme things to make ends meet, such as prostitution or selling their children into child prostitution. It's heartbreaking, and unfortunately, doesn't show much signs of stopping. It's just one example of how life, and the world, in general can be so unjust.

Imagine how much different things could be if education was free, and the only thing a student would have to do to continue their education was get good marks.

That would be wonderful. But, unfortunately, that's not the way it is in so many places. Including my country (United States). A good education will cost you thousands of dollars. It's a shame.

What's done is done and cannot be undone, but people can learn, people can grow.

This question reminds me of something I heard before. How can a demon be destroyed? It's not alive in the physical sense, so you can't shoot it. If you send it hate or curse it, it only makes it stronger because it feeds on negative energy. There is only one thing that can truly counteract evil, and that's love. The only thing that can destroy a demon is redemption.

Certainly. Some wrongs can never be undone; all that is left is forgiveness, if that is possible.

Murder is the most obvious one. You can't bring people back to life after you killed them.

Sins against others require the forgiveness of these victims for the sin to be undone. Obviously, to me, gaining forgiveness from someone murdered is impossible. So genocide may be ultimately be the most unforgiveable sin.

A person can repent for murder, rape and child abuse - but the harm cannot be erased. You can't fix a parents broken heart after you've taken their child. And you can't make a child whole again if you've done something terrible to them. The living victims can recover - but even the time spent in recovery is time lost. A criminal can't do any of that for a victim even by apologizing.

I really can't think of one thing that can be undone. What has been done can be remediated. Having second thoughts about something that has been done can be a chance to show remorse and a desire to do better in the future but if it's been done it can't be undone.

Yes. Wrong can't be undone, but it can be forgiven. I can only answer that for myself though -- forgiveness sometimes if for the wronged.

True . . . it doesn't mean you have to be buddies with them either. I lost a family member to violence and found that FOR MYSELF, I needed to forgive this individual. The weight of anger was too much. Still shows up and now and again and I choose to let it go.

As the saying goes, "You only get one chance to make a first impression"....and my feelings are, do not mess it up....
Rarely, words that come out of your mouth can ever be undone...you can offer "sorrys" but the damage is done, and even if the other person "says" it's oK...it truely is not and never ever will be...
However, I do believe that some wrongs CAN be undone,,,,and a chance to fix one of the biggest wrong in this nation is coming in November....It IS possible to change that mistake.

Yes there are wrongs that cannot be undone, sometimes they are life changing, but if you choose to forgive and let it go then happiness will be possible. If you hold onto bitterness, its like drinking poison and hoping the other person will die.

Like the sign in the pic it will always be the wrong way. But things we do wrong can always be undone if we let it.
