I sometimes like gore, but seeing it up close and personal- NO. No matter how bad a person may be, I'm not sure that hacking them up is the solution to any problem they may have caused.
It is. I make it a daily practice to remember we all have so much more in common than not, but it is easier for me to step back from all this American politics and see how it's really all a bunch of people who want the best for their country only have different ideas how to get there. It's rather inevitable in a population so large and diverse. But some people are really scared and the fear mongering and hype is all to the media's advantage. It is easier for me to have a more balanced view because I'm not in the middle of it, I'm not frightened.
I have my own buttons and have said things I regret.
I think that SOME of us truly just want what's best for the country as a whole.
However I also think that there are some that are just utterly miserable, and its obvious that they are trying to spread that misery in any way they can.
Folks like that are just sad.
(Note that I'm not referring to Chris, btw. I don't think he's miserable; just obtuse enough to actually believe that everyone fits so neatly into cookie cutter stereotypes.)
Chris is a good guy. He just spouts the same stuff some of the liberals do too. It starts to become something people say without thinking-libtards and contards. If I give my liberal friends some slack when they say those things I have to give my conservatives friends some slack too.
People who are miserable want others to be miserable too. I agree!
Absolutely. Most of the average common folks like us are pretty cool people for the most part. I was speaking of the elites that are working to make a handful powerful and the rest of us subservient to them.
SMH
*lolz
TRUE.
Yet so many of us seem to act as though anyone who doesn't share our viewpoint is less than that.
It's a sad testament to the human condition.

Did you think I was refering to a person that just votes for a Democrat or Republican? Fools they may be but not vile and disgusting.
