(and for that reason .. I am quite happy as a Single myself .. I know I provide for my needs and have taken responsibility for all my choices in life .. )
Like one of my uncles, some don't even think of the idea of love or a relationship. Everyone has that one passion that makes them happy, no matter what it is
I am terminally single. I used to love being single, but now I sometimes hate it. I am too set in my ways and way too big of a pain in the ass. I'm very pro marriage, it's just not for me. I like Katherine Hepburns take on things...
"I often wonder whether men and women really suit each other. Perhaps they should live next door and just visit now and then."
Some may not ever have the desire to share their life/daily activities with another individual. I, personally, would prefer to be alone in my free time.
I'm still single and haven't been successful at even starting a relationship. Kind of disheartening seeing the majority of high school classmates on Facebook now married with children.
I think so... there are some attitudes that im sure dont do well in relationships. and some employments as well...
i tip my hat to our soldiers and law enforcement, but i think in undercover police work and certain positions in the military, not being single would be tremendously harder on both people involved.
I think some are in a romantic/sexual sense, but not in terms of friendship and human contact. We're social creatures by nature and need contact with other humans to thrive.
Sexually/Romantically, I haven't been in a relationship in over a year, and I've never been happier.
Maybe so in a romantic way, but in no way is anyone meant to go without friendship and sexual contact. Not necessarily from the same people, but those two things I think can sustain anyone if the desire for a "partner" isn't there.

those are the dogs that hurt us all
