I work in corrections and I get tired of looking at it. I started pulling the 'saggers' to the side and asking them 'Are you afraid of somebody, do you want to ask for protection?' They would ask me why and then I would tell them that the sagging means that they are trying to sell their ass for protection. It would really piss them off but I kept doing it. Eventually they caught on and got tired of me making fun of them....don't see it much anymore.
YOU KNOW.... this trend started with an all guys prison... they wanted to tell other guys that they were "available" so they started to sag their pants.......
First of all, to the Mini-morons that wear their pants in that "fashion" , do you even know that it was started in the Illinois State Prison System to let other inmates know whether or not you were a Bitch!!! If you were willing to bend over and take it up the arse then you let your pants sag!! So all these gang bangers and wanna be BAD boys who are wearing their pants hanging off their silly selves are in fact announcing that they are willing to be someone's bitch. I imagine they would sing a new tune if they ever DID get sent to prison and Bubba wanted to Make them his 'girl'. From what I understand it isn't moonlight, roses, whispered sweet nothings with Barry White on in the background!!
IGNORANCE isn't always bliss or even an excuse.
To the kids who wear it, it is stylish. To all others, it seems stupid. All kids do stupid stuff and have stupid trends. The sooner adults get over it, the sooner they will.
Maybe you are. Like I said all kids have stupid trends. I am sure your parents thought whatever the trend was in your day was stupid. Get over yourself, moron.
I don't want to see a guys under wear! I don't want to know if he likes to wear "sponge bob or some other character on his undies! It is kinda of funny to see a "macho" guy wearing this kind of boxers..HaHa. Some guys that do wear sagging pants - uh...they just don't have the behind to pull it off - it's just flat!! so I guess if I'm checking out our rear, then the story of this starting in prisons must have some fact behind it. (yes?)
One of these days, I will no longer be able to resist the temptation to run up behind these idiots and pull them ALL the way down. If I wanted to see their nasty as*, I would ask.
What is stylish about seeing some dudes underwear? It's a sign for stupidity and yes I've also heard it started in prison to let people know you are willing to take it in the rump.
Local street information is that that style started in prison, as a way for those who were willing to let others know they were willing. And continued out in the community as a way to let people know what he was willing to do. So a fashion statement based on rear access is probably stupid, because many wearing it may not know what it means.
Kind of like those tattoos of 'Chinese/Japanese characters' that are supposedly meaningful. Sure, it looks cool if you like them, but it would be funny to watch them go to China or Japan and have someone ask them why do you have a tattoo that means dung beetle? (or anything similar)
The boys who are doing that just about have their future mapped out for them by copying their fathers who are behind bars. I personally don't mind one way or the other if the fathers get to keep their belts and they just go right ahead and hang themselves. That would be cheaper for the taxpayers. Besides, I seriously doubt that every convicted criminal is going to hang himself in his jail cell on his leather belt. That is so stupid to even think in terms like that . . . Maybe about one in a thousand . . . That is NOT going to save me and my fellow non-convicted tax-paying citizens very much. I have a tendency to love my neighbor as I love myself; maybe perhaps too much. I do care for people, though. Convicted criminals are costing my friends and I a lots and lots of money. That is something that we need to look into . . . NOT convicts and their uneducated sons fashions designs; hence, their own stupidity that is going to cost us even more money due to inflation costs and the legalization of medical marijuana and later in our future; medical cocaine.
No,I'm actually 18. I was 16 when I wrote that comment though. Its something young people do. If you dont like it then thats your opinion. Just dont insult my intellect for thinking its stylish. Its about personal taste,Maybe when I get older I wont like it but as a teenager,I am ok with seeing teenage boys doing it.
Saggy pants are about as stylish as standing in the middle of your main highschool buildings hallway with your pants around your ankles while everyone is rushing out of the class rooms.

Two women's lives were saved because the killer was tripped by his own saggy pants and fell to his death.

However, I DO have a problem with the hat that is on sideways.

One of my fondest memories of my high school CP English teacher is her saying to a student: "Dean! Pull up your pants, man! Jesus."
