Give me junk food anyday as it normally tastes better that stuff that's good for you... However this is just the way I was brought up...... I was forced to eat meat when I was young and love it now.... Upbringing and Conditioning has a lot to do with peoples diets....... I am lucky I can eat like a pig and put nothing on at 78Kgs I can eat a horse :-)

I only know that in belgium frozen bags of peas are healtier than fresh one's because they are frozen instantly and keep their vitamins and i prefer a fresh-vegetable -and homemade bottem above a industrial-frozen-one .So undecided

They are also healthy. The package provides better protection from bacteria and other dirty things.

That's so true. It took me a very long time and money (eating out) before I learned how to cook at a level that was good enough to eat and not offend any poor soul that happened to be subjected to my culinary works. It has become fun for me to cook now. Kind of like learning a new hoby.

Well for me i done all these classes seeing that pre-packaged food is good and REALLY bad for us at the same time. Since all these packaged food has salts for our body for atheltic people who play sports but the only problem is there is so many children and adults who dont keep active. Which cause blood clots and high blood pressure.

Both. But what can you do? A lot of people (like myself) can't afford to eat healthy.
I go to the store and salad fixings end up totaling more than a half dozen TV dinners. If I want something tasty to drink for an occasional treat and a break from tap water, a 2-liter bottle of store brand soda costs 99 cents. 64 Ounces of fruit juice costs $4. It's simple really. To make ends meet I eat cheaply. Eating cheaply means eating poorly.

They may be convenient for lazy people but they're more expensive, more processed, usually higher in fat and salt, often somewhat unhealthy, and not worth it. Making a meal from scratch is not that difficult.

Any food, prepackaged OR not can be unhealthy, as has been seen many times lately. Want to see REALLY unhealthy food?? Take funding away from the food and drug administration (as the TEA party wants to), then let's see how many of those "precious, overtaxed grandchildren" grow up alive and well!

Many pre-packaged foods are unhealthy. Some exceptions might include pastas stuffed with cheeses and spinach, etc. Just boil them up and add your sauce for easy at-home Italian.

Most of them have excess salt,GMO's,High Fructose sugar,etc.I mostly cook from scratch,it is almost as fast as cooking processed for but is healthier and tastes better.
